zhī yǒu hǎn shān zhī shǒu，rú yǒu fēng chíng zhī xū。

知有寒山指手，如有风鸣之虚。

As if guided by the hand of Cold Mountain, I hear the echoing of the wind.

dēng lóng xiàng yǎo wài fēng xiù，

灯笼像腰外风袖，

The lanterns sway like sleeves fluttering in the wind.

yǐng hú huā yuè rù lán zhū。

影户花月入槛珠。

The flowers and the moonlight shine through the window, like pearls on the doorstep.

yù lǐ tiáo tiáo yīn tǔ xīn shū。

狱里条条印土心书。

In the prison, every mark on the soil is a message from the heart.

zhàn jiàn yī sòng jiàn，shǒu zhōng shēn shēn shū。

斩将一颂奸，手中身身数。

I sing a song of triumph over the traitor I have defeated, and count the marks on my hand.
