The Northeast tiger, also known as the Siberian tiger, is the largest subspecies of tigers and is native to northeastern China, eastern Russia, and North Korea. These majestic creatures can grow up to 3.5 meters long and weigh up to 300 kilograms.

The Northeast tiger is a critically endangered species, with only approximately 500 individuals remaining in the wild. The major threats to their survival include habitat loss, poaching, and the depletion of their prey base due to overhunting.
