一、说教材内容  
我今天说课的内容是PEP小学英语三年级下册Unit 3 At the zoo Part A Let’s learn，本课所学习的内容是单词thin, fat，tall，short和句型 Look at that„. It is„的表达。本课所学的外貌特征在学生的日常生活中是经常听到和用到的，在本册教材中有承前启后的作用。
二、说教学目标  
1、语言知识目标：三会掌握单词并灵活运用于现实生活中。
2、语言技能目标：培养学生表达能力和运用语言的能力。  
3、情感态度目标: 激发学生的表现欲和对他们渗透爱护动物的良好品德教育。  
4、学习策略目标: 培养学生自主学习和小组合作学习的能力。 三、说教学重点、难点  
1、本课的重点为掌握单词thin, fat，tall，short和句型Look at that...It’s...并能进行灵活的运用。  
2、难点是单词thin的发音和学生能用本节课所学知识进行人物或动物的外貌描述。
四、说教法和学法  
教无定法，但根据三年级学生好学好动、表现欲望强烈的特点，我主要采取了情景引入、整体感知、小组合作交流的学习方式让学生在情景中理解语言，并利用游戏突破和巩固本节课的重、难点；同时，让学生在教师的引导下，通过听、看、说、想、游戏、小组合作等学习方式巩固语言，得到真正意义上的语言能力的提高。
五、说教学过程
1、复习中活跃课堂。
我将通过Free talk和与学生一起做ready的动作，创设轻松的情景，让学生在老师的带动下做好学习的准备，活跃课堂气氛，使学生乐于进入英语课堂中。
2、情境中感知新授。
我将设置看谁学的快，看谁读得准，看谁记得牢，看谁做得好，看谁说得好几个比赛，调动学生的情绪。让学生在情景中先听音，猜词意，运用，再书写的顺序进行单词的教学，培养学生听的注意力，并结合实际情景去运用。  
3、游戏中巩固新知，突破重点难点。  
根据本节课的教学内容，我将设计 bomb game, I say you do和Listen and do这三个趣味游戏，以充分调动学生学习英语的积极性，吸引学生参与到活动中来，突破教学重难点。这样做，目的是训练学生听的注意力，激发学生积极思考，培养说的能力，同时检测学生对新学知识的掌握程度。
4、巩固中反馈收获，拓展中深化运用。   
(1)让学生就不同的动物和人物外貌进行描述，通过这个练习，一是检查学生对单词和句子的掌握程度；二是发展学生说和运用语言的能力。   
(2)让学生用两个形容词合起来描述人物或动物，主要是想拓展学生运用语言的能力，教育学生大胆将习得语言运用到实际生活中。      
(3)课堂小结. 再现本节课学习的重点内容，帮助学生梳理知识，结束课堂。  
总之，这节课的教学设计，无论是课堂教学的安排，还是游戏的设计，我都尽可能让学生在“学中玩”，在“玩中学”，使学生在轻松愉快的环境中习得语言并大胆运用。希望这样做能激发学生更浓厚的英语学习兴趣。
六、说板书设计
根据教学需要，随机将本节课的重点内容进行板书。此板书简洁明了，重点突出，起到引领作用。

一、说教材
1、教材分析  
这节课是第三单元第一课时的内容，是一节词汇课。是延续第二单元的人物学习的一个重要内容，为后面学习如何描述人物或动物的特征打了良好的基础。
2、教学目标  
（1）知识目标单词：90%的学生可以掌握tall,short,fat,thin 及句子：Look at... It’s...  
（2）能力目标：85%的学生听懂、会说、会认读几个形容词tall， fat， thin， short.  
（3）情感目标：通过本节课的学习，让学生能够爱好动物，懂的动物是世界不可缺少的一部分；进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣，享受学习过程带来的乐趣。
3、教学重难点
（1）教学重点  
形容词：tall fat thin short 句子：Look at...It’s...
（2）教学难点      
单词thin 的正确读音，灵活运用Look at… It’s…句式于本课所学的形容词中。

二、说学情  
三年级这个年龄段的学生具有好奇、好活动、爱表现、善模仿等特点。他们喜欢新鲜事物，对陌生语言的好奇心能激起他们对外语的兴趣。学生之前已接触过动物名称的单词及一些简单句式，学生对此的学习兴趣很高，学习氛围浓厚，主要是让学生在“学中玩，玩中学”的环境中掌握知识。
三、说教法、学法  
教法：《英语课程标准》指出：小学阶段英语课程的目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心；使他们形成初步用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。所以本节课我确立了以“游戏教学法”为主，使学生寓学于乐，在活泼、轻忪、愉快的气氛中自然而然地获得英语知识与技能。  
同时我将辅以动作教学法和全身反应法等，努力提高教学效果。   学法：当代认知心理学家指出：没有任何教学目标比“使学生成为独立的、自主的、高效的学习者” 更重要。
因此，教会学生学习，传授有效的学习方法，已被当前教育界视为提高学习效率的有效途径。为培养学生良好的学习方法和学习习惯，我让学生从语音的角度进行联想，利用对比的方法来帮助识记，如反义词，还有合作学习法等。以提高学生的学习能力。
四、说教学过程  
1、热身、复习 (Warm-up/Revision)
（1）日常口语会话展示。  
（2）教师播放chant师生边唱边做动作（以前学过的一首歌谣，里面含有一些形容词。）  
（3）look and guess学生看图说、猜单词，复习上册所学动物类单词。
活动设计意图：师生问候，拉近老师和学生之间的距离。通过节奏感强、欢快的chant，创设语言学习的氛围，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，为本课的学习埋下伏笔。  
2、呈现新课 (Presentation)  
（1）展示一组对比图片：两只猴子，对比他们的胖瘦,引出单词fat、thin,板书单词（可以伴有一些夸张的动作），教师领读，学生跟读学习单词。教单词有几个步骤：     
1）拼读及发音 2）书写 3）跟录音机读 4）利用卡片在具体情境中让学生说                                                
活动设计意图：在真实的情境中学习，便于学生理解和感悟。通过教师的动作教学法，学生对单词达到听说认读的目的。在学习单词的过程中，就体现了从语音角度和利用反义词的学习方法。  
（2）再展示一组对比图片：两只长颈鹿，对比他们的高矮,引出单词tall、short用同样的方法学习。  
（3）让学生用fat、thin、tall、short说一句话(加些提示语，例如： a:以你的同学为例…is… b:以你的家人为例My…is… c:以你熟悉的明星为例…is…  ）让学生联系生活，找身边的例子。明白生活中的英语，能学有所用。
（4）联系课文情境利用4个新单词自编对话（三人一小组，以优生带后进生，熟练后交换角色达到理解并流利朗读。）让学生小组合作学习，在合作中找各自的优点为我所用。小组合作学习为学生提供一个较为轻松、自主的学习环境。更能突出学生的主体地位，培养主动参与的意识，激发学生的求知欲。
3、练习扩展（Practice development）
（1）Let’s do的内容。 a. 观看Let’s do的视频。  b. 老师发指令，学生跟着说做动作，慢慢引导学生自己发指令做动作。 通过全身反应教学法，学生利用肢体语言，帮助理解内容。  
（2）find the antonyms找出这些词的反义词。（big, small, short ,tall,  fat, thin, white,black）  
（3）游戏1：sharp eyes  （在屏幕上瞬间闪过学过的单词，让学生快速说）
（4）游戏2：Act and guess（教师请学生上台，悄悄对他说单词 ，该学生做动作，其他学生猜单词。）
通过游戏，以玩的形式充分调动学生的积极性和参与性，在紧张有趣的游戏中，巩固所学单词。  
（5）draw and say（学生用课前画好的人物或动物图片，四人一个小组，讨论图片内容，应用所学句式。如，look at my monkey! It’s thin.）  词不离句，句不离词，将所学单词放在句子中进行灵活运用，进行语言扩展。
（6）情感教育（让学生讨论在动物园不可以做的事。）
4、总结、布置作业（summary）
（1）这节课你学习到了什么？  
（2）作业：写单词、读课文。课后收集一些动物名称及一些形容词。 这种作业设计能使学生很好的对所学知识加以巩固，让学生拓展一些课外的知识，增强学生的求知欲。                                板书设计

Good morning, everyone! It's a great honor for me to be here to present my lesson , I'm going to talk about Unit 3 Part A. Firstly, I’d like to analyze the teaching materials . The topic is to observe the animal and describe their characteristics using the pattern : It’s ….        
Analysis of the students:   
Our students are Grade 3, they are naturally lively, curious, like to express themselves, but some students are easily distracted in class. Therefore, how to attract their attention, let them to actively participate in class is the key to this lesson. Since the topic we learned closer to our life, the students are familiar with the background, mainly to learn words and sentences, through practise and games.  
Teaching aims:  
1. Aims on the knowledge  
(1)        To enable the Ss to master the new words : thin, fat, tall, short.And know "thin" is the antonym of "fat";"tall" is the antonym of "short".  
(2)        To enable the Ss to understand and speak: Look at that …. It’s … . Make sure that Ss can use these sentences in real situations.
2. Aims on the abilities     
(1) To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking.   
(2) To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups.
(3) To cultivate Ss’ abilities of communication and their innovation.  
3. Aims on the emotion     
(1) Cultivate students' interest in learning English.   
(2) To cultivate Ss’ consciousness: protect the animals.  Key-points of this lesson   
To enable Ss to master new words.  
Difficult points     
(1) To help the Ss master the sentences: Look at that …. It’s … , and make sure they can use the structure correctly.     
(2) To finish the tasks by themselves.  
Teaching methods      
As we all know: the main aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I’ll mainly use Task-based teaching method ,TPR teaching method, Communicative language teaching method and so on.  
Teaching procedures   
I’ll finish this lesson in four steps.
Step1:Warm-up and preview  
1.        Let’s do together  
2.        Review words about animals.
Step2: Presentation

1.Show animals’ pictures on the PPT one by one and teach new words .
2.Play “Let’s learn”on the screen and Ss follow it.
3.Ss use these sentences according to pictures.
Step3: Practice  
1. Play a game : flash cards and Ss spell the words
2. Play and watch “Let’s do”.
3. Play a game：I say you do.
4. At the zoo, we shouldn’t do ？
Step4: Sum up   
In this step, I will guide the Ss to conclude the key words and sentences.
Step5: Homework  
1. Read words and sentences (3times).  
2. Draw a picture of a kind of animal which you like and write sentences, then introduce to your partner.
