第二十一课教学设计方案
教学重点:句型Thanks. Are you three? 词汇Sunday thanks
教学难点:发音thanks;What day is today?

过程:
一、热身/复习
1.组织学生唱英文歌曲Happy teacher's day
2.学生之间对话练习:
将第20课Let's practise中的图片复制发给学生,两人一张,学生根据图片提供的信息做对话练习

B.教师将事先准备好的鹦鹉头饰戴在头上,介绍课文对话主要内容
师:Hello! Boys and girls.
I'm Polly. I'm a nice bird. Today is my birthday.
Guess. How old am I?
生:Are you…?
师:Yes, I am. I'm two. / No, I am not.
Today is my birthday. I'm very happy. Let's sing a song.
全班和教师一起唱歌曲《Happy birthday》[录音]
C.听新课文对话录音一遍
教师出示主题图,学生根据图中内容进行叙述(看图说话)
Example: I can see two boys and a bird in the picture. The bird's name is Polly. It is two. Today is Sunday. It's Polly's birthday.
D.听课文对话录音两遍
全班重复:How old are you?/ No. Er, um…I'm one./No. You're two now./ Today is your birthday!/Happy birthday to you!
个人重复:What day is today?/Sunday./Thanks.
教师强调:What day is today? [出示年历:This is a calendar. Look! There are seven days in a week. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Today is September, 13th. Today is Monday.]
Thanks. [强调出舌尖的动作。并让学生举例说出学过的带有th组合的单词]
E.听课文录音一遍
打开书,跟读课文一遍
全班齐读,教师注意适当纠正发音错误
F.三人小组分角色朗读课文对话
建议:可将全班学生分为两个大组,进行朗读比赛。
2.句型教学
A.句型问答:How old are you?
Are you…?
Yes, I am.
B.听录音[配套Let's practise]复述句子
Are you…? Yes, I am. / No, I am not.
学生也可自己设计对话内容,不必拘泥于录音中的内容。
C.三人一组可根据图中内容做对话练习
3.词汇教学
A.板书词汇thanks,请学生大声读出来。
归纳总结:还有哪些方式表示谢意?
答案:Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Many thanks.
Thanks a lot.

B.总结:本课重点话题?(板书句子)
答案:Are you…?

三、兴趣活动
1.听一首英文歌曲,缓解紧张的学习氛围
2.做游戏:发给每人一小张空白纸,每位学生在纸上写好自己的真实年龄或自编年龄(要求与真实年龄相差不要太大),写玩后叠好,同桌两个人一组做猜年龄的游戏。互相问答:Are you twelve? Yes, I am. / No, I am not.

五、作业:朗读并抄写本课课堂练习中的单词和句子
