教学内容：Culture time、Cartoon time

教学目标：

1 通过阅读Cartoon time，了解谈论假期计划的语言。

2 复习Grammar time 句型，了解如何询问对方的假期计划。

3 通过Culture time 了解世界各地的著名景点。

教学重难点：

1 了解如何询问对方假期计划。

2 了解西方人在圣诞节时的一些其他习俗。

教学反思：

本节课主要学习cartoon time和culture time。导入时利用talk show让学生自己分享自己的暑假计划，考验了学生的综合语用能力。并提出一个问题让下面学生回答，提高了学生的注意力也增加了学生学习的兴趣。并且复习了Unit7的主要句型，知道如何提问别人的暑假计划。在教学cartoon time时，主要让学生自主学习，根据所提的问题到文中去寻找答案。最后以学生小组朗读、表演的方式来巩固所学。需要改进的是，在表演或朗读汇报时，都是老师进行评价，可以让学生来评价其他小组的表现。让其他同学成为一个参与者而不是旁观者。而culture time的词汇比较长且读音较为难记，所以让学生结合上单元所学，先复习英国的地点和所学过的一些著名景点，让学生根据图片来说一说。接着，出示美国、澳大利亚和加拿大的国旗，利用句型In..., they will visit...来复习这三个国家所学的景点并引出其新景点，层层递进，步步深入。在学习新景点词汇的同时，拓展一些该景点的文化常识，让学生对其有所了解，便于记忆。但有所不足的是，在教学新词汇时，由于读音比较难，仅仅带学生领读一遍还是比较难记忆，可以拼读、开火车读、分层次读等以不同的形式来熟悉发音。最后，再出示一些相应的练习来巩固所学的文化知识。
