本节校内展示课基于“5+6”教学模式,具体环节如下:
Step1: Greetings.
Step2: Warming up. Little teacher will share a song “I Love my family” with the whole class. Students sing together, clapping their hands.
Purpose: Attract students’ attention and review the family member words.
Step 3: Check question one on the self-learning paper.
Purpose: Students share the method of remembering words in this unit with their classmate, in order to find out the best way to recite words spelling instead of remembering them separately and meaninglessly.
Step 4: Listen to the dialogue and find out the key sentences in this dialogue. Write down them on the blackboard to attract students’ attention. Then make two examples to express the meaning and how to use them correctly using pictures of the classmates.
Step 5: Pair work. Talk about their favorite friends, using the key sentences.
Step 6: Read and act.
Task 1: Read in groups.(role play) (1 point)
Task 2: Make a new dialogue with the key sentences in this part and act it out in groups. (2 points)
Step 7: Think and say. What I have learned in this class. Students can summarize by themselves to remember clearly.
Step 8: Find and share. This aims to train student’s ability of sorting information, learning by themselves and also extending their knowledge capacity.
Step 9: Teacher summarize learning content and make group evaluation in this class and assign homework.
整节课下来,我觉得孩子们发言很积极,小组分工、合作的也很好。 不足的地方是:孩子们有些地方似乎听不太清楚老师的指令是什么,反应有些慢。比如:当孩子回答很好的时候,我说了一句“You are great, give me five”孩子一时没反应过来,当我主动靠近它的手掌时,他才反应过来。如果在平时的教学中能注意将简单的指令用英语表达,时间久了孩子们就会熟悉这些指令的意思,而不会出现老师很活跃而学生反应跟不上的情况。那么整节课就会显得更和谐一些。
省教研室的专家一方面肯定了这节课的最大亮点:教师在讲解重点句型的时候,使用班内学生的照片能吸引全班学生的注意力,具有很强的现实感和亲切感。短时间内专家都能记住照片中学生的名字,可见真实的照片影响力很大。但要想提高整节课的效果需要把握以下细节:
1. 学生的活跃度与老师不匹配。也就是信号解码产生误读,需要建立课堂生态,提高匹配度。
2. 不能画蛇添足。学生跳骑马舞,注意力容易转移。
3. 优化课堂结构。拿奖励的时候应该一步到位。
4. 英语课堂不能按照传统的方法上,发音不好的要及时纠正。
5. 课堂上尽量不读,鼓励多说。
6. 为了节省时间,板书可以写在卡纸上。
今后我将从以上问题着手,改正不足,在反思中继续前进。
