湘少版六年级英语下册Unit 9 What can I do?导学案教案
Period 1
Teaching aims:
1.    Ss can help others each other.
2.    Listen and say new words: bus fare, notice. Understand the words: catch, left;
3.    Use the sentence “ What can…do?”
4.    Listen , understand and say the text.

Teaching emphasis:
Master 4-skill words.

Teaching difficulties:
      Retell the text.

Teaching tools:
Pictures, computer, word cards , tape

Teaching methods:
Direct method,  games,  audio-lingual method.

Teaching steps:
Step 1 Warming up
1.    Greetings.
2. Sing a song
3. Say a rhyme

Step 2 Presentation and drill
1.    Show a picture
T: Who are they?
Ss: They’re Lingling and Anne.
T: Where are they?
Ss: They’re outside the school.
Teach the word: notice
2. Write and teach the words bus fare, catch, enough, both, left and a sentence “ What can…do”
3. Listen and imitate Part B.
4. Games:
1) Building block.
2) Act and say : What can I do?

Step 3 Fast reading and listening
1. Read Part A and answer:
Will Lingling borrow some money from Anne?
What will Lingling do?
2.    Listen and read Part A.

Step 4 Intensive reading
1.    Read Part A.
2.    Complete Part C.

Step 5 Consolidations
Copy the 4-skill phrases for 3 times.
Read Part A.

Design of the blackboard:
Unit 9 What can I do?
     catch,                       bus fare,         
    left      What can…do?     notice.

Period 2
Teaching aims:

3.    Make students help with each other.

Teaching emphasis:
Use “ What can I do?” to ask for help.

Teaching difficulties:
Give suitable advices to the people who need help.

Teaching tools:
Pictures, computer, word cards, tape

Teaching methods:
Direct method, games, Audio-lingual Method.

Step 1 Warming up
1.    Greetings.
2.    Duty report.
3. A game: Flash card
Teacher shows pictures quickly, and make students put up hands and say out the words on them.
3.    Act out Part A.

Step 2 Presentation and drill
1.    Teacher shows pictures one by one.
T: I have many friends. Each of them has a question. Help them, please.
指名学生并引导他们回答。
2.Group work. Act and ask and answer.

Step 3 Practice
1.    Make students look and read Part E.
2.    Complete Part E.
3.    Group work . Act and answer.

Step 4 Consolidation
1.    Free talk.
2.    Feedback.
3.    Finish the exercises( P35)

Step 5 Assignment
Recite the text in Part A.

Design of the blackboard:

   I feel sick.
   What can I do?   
Go and see a doctor.

4. Foster students’ communicative abilities.

Teaching emphasis:
Master the knowledge in Unit 9.

Teaching difficulties:
1. Make up songs.
2. Revise and consolidate the knowledge in Unit 9.

Teaching tools:
Pictures, computer, word cards, tape

Teaching methods:
Direct method, games, audio-lingual method

Step 1 Warming up
1. Greetings.
2.    Duty report.
3.    Act and answer “ What can I do?”以竞赛形式.

Step 2 Presentation and drill
1.    Teach the words: burglar, fever.
2.    Group work: Ask and answer( Part F)
3.    Finish the exercises in Part F.

Step 3 Practice
1.    Listen and talk about the song in Part G.
2.    Listen and sing the song.

Step 4 Consolidation
1, Free talk.
2. Feedback.
3.Do exercises.

Step 5 Assignment
1. Copy the words in Unit 9.
2. Sing and act the song.
