【教学过程】：
Step I. warm up
1. greetings .
T : hello , children . Nice to meet you .Are you happy today ?
   What’s your name ? How old are you ? When is your birthday ?
师生自由交谈并将全班分成四大组，组名分别为：apple , orange , watermelon , banana
Step II  Pre-reading
1. 出示大明头像
T : Who is he ? Ss : He is Daming .
T : let’s say hello to Daming . Daming is very happy today .because today is Daming’s birthday . let’s say “ happy birthday” to Daming . Can you sing the “ happy birthday” song to Daming .
师生交谈进入主题并齐唱英文歌曲
2 . 课件出示相关的生日图片，并简单介绍图片内容。

  师生共同观察谈论图片，并板书课题“Daming is having a birthday party .”
Step III . while-reading .
1. read and say “yes ” or “no”.
(1)Daming is having a birthday party .

Ss read paragraph 1 then answer questions .
