完成本课时的作文:写一封邀请信。
四、设计说明:
本单元以中心话题Find your way为主线,把各个Mini task联接起来,最终完成中心任务Task。通过前几课时大量的描述路线的词汇,课文和语法的学习,本课时的任务是要求学生运用本单元学过的词汇,句型和语法写一封邀请信,训练学生的听说读写能力。教师要指导学生了解邀请信的结构:称谓、开头、主体、结尾和签名。写作时,教师要求学生在写作时做到主题明确,语言正确,字迹工整,结构清晰。
本学案具体的设计思路如下:
1. 激发兴趣,激活灵感。
写是综合语言运用能力的体现,很多学生对写作有很强的畏惧感。为此,教师应设法激发学生的写作兴趣,激活他们的灵感,使他们有写的欲望。本节课以birthday歌曲的形式导入,同时问:What is it about? 然后再讨论free talk.环环相扣的问题点明了写作的主题“An invitation letter”,既较快的调动了学生的学习兴趣,又自然过渡到本节课写作的话题上,为学生们的写作做好心理准备。
2. 阅读范文,突显结构。
范文有利于引导学生思考写什么怎么写。对初学英语的初中生来说,阅读范文是非常必要的。本节课让学生边听边阅读范文,完成问题,了解文章大意。接下来让学生再读范文,了解范文的写作思路,分析邀请信结构。本篇邀请信的结构:greeting, beginning(when, where), main body(what time, what… do…), closing, signature.
3. 设置情景,撰写初稿。
为了调动学生的写作积极性,教师创设的情境:Simon’s birthday is coming soon. If you are Simon, Please write an invitation letter to your classmates.学生在写作过程中,教师提示学生写作时应注意语用、语法、单词拼写、连词的运用和语言的逻辑关系等。
4. 示范讲评,对子互批。
教师在黑板对照评分标准对作文进行示范讲评,让后让学生对子交换参照评分标准互批,用波浪线划出优美的句子,在错误处用红笔下划线,并打出分数。
