Step 1. Warm-up
A. Broadcast the song of unit 6 “A field trip”.
B. Review what we have learnt in last class.
Step 2. Presentation
A. First, show some pictures about food and animals to class, then ask them what food each animal likes to eat.
B. T: The animals also have their own favorite food, just like us. Do you think it is very interesting? (Write down the word interesting.)
C. Show the picture of an ant.
T: What is it?
S: It is an ant.
T: Yes, you are right. What do ants like to eat? Can you guess?
S: …… (Write down the words honey)
D: To sum up the taste of the food. Then write down the words: sweet things.
Step 3 Read and write
A. Ask the students not to open the book, just listen to the video for the first time.
B. Listen to the video again. Answer the following questions:

Are they doing an experiment?
