3.Lead to practise the dialogue :
    What's it about ?
    It's about Spring Festival.
What is Spring Festival ?
It's Chinese New Year.
4.Have the tape open, ask to listen and point.
5.Play the tape ,ask pupils to listen and say.

6.Deskmate practice and act out.

III.Play a  game
Use word cards,play a guessing game:
Three word cards,hide one of them,ask to guess which one is missing.

IV.Homework.
Copy the words and the sentences.

  Let the students read in groups
Show the pictures in the text and listen
Play the tape and listen ,then repeat
Practice in groups and try to act out in class
  Let’s imagine today is Spring Festival ,
so what should we say?
Show the song words
And listen to the recording ,repeat and sing by yourselves.

IV.Homework.
Copy the words and the sentences.

Step1 Warm up
Greetings
The activity should help the students understand how to change from first person singular to both third person singular and to first person plural.
On the board write the following sentences;
(1)I have peanuts and sweets.  (2)I get up at seven o’clock...
(3)I have dinner at six o’clock.  (4)I go swimming at the weekend.
(5)I have Maths and English.

Step2 Presentation:
Listen and point
Get the students to look at the pictures .Ask them questions in Chinese e.g. where is Daming in Picture1?
Play the tape.
Teach the new vocabulary and revise the words the students have already learned.
Draw a stick figure on the board.
Listen and say
Divide the class into three groups.
Explain to the students I am gong to play the tape, pause it after each utterance and they have to read their respective roles.
Look and say
Write the names of other Chinese festivals on the board, e .g.
Mid-autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival. Teach the students the English names and teach them relevant vocabulary such as ‘moon cakes’, ‘lanterns’,’ moon ’,’Zongzi’ and ’races’.

Step3: Consolidation
Use the Activity Book:
Listen and repeat
Listen to the story again. Copy the correct words to complete the sentences.
Look and copy the words to complete the text.
Act it out.

Step4: The end
Let’s sing a song

Step 1 Warmer
1. On the board draw a Christmas tree, presents, peanuts and, sweets, Write the names under each picture and then labelthem1-4respectively.
2. Point to the first picture; say ‘It’s a Christmas tree.’  And get the students to repeat the sentence.
3. Point to the peanuts and say, 'What are they? ’The students should answer ‘They’re peanuts.’  The same for 'sweets'.

Step 2 Presentation:
Listen and point
1. Have the students look at the four pictures. Ask questions in Chinese, e.g.
2. Play the tape and let the student listen.
Point and say
1. Get the students to work in pairs.
2. One student points to a picture in exercise 1 and the other student reads the sentence that describes it.
3. Do an example .Hold up my book and point to the picture of the Christmas tree. Say ‘they’ and prompt the students to complete the sentence by adding,’ have a Christmas tree’.
Act it out
1. Explain to the class that they are going to work in groups of three.
2. Ask them to name the festival the students are talking about in the pictures.
3. Write the celebrations on the board:
A: It’s…today. B: Happy…!  C: Happy…!

Step3: Condition
Listen and say, then sing.
Game: Look, remember, ask and answer.
Listen repeat and trace the letters.

   The students have to point to the correct names.

2.teacher says:It’s hot and sunny today.
              It’s cool and windy today.

3.Put the students into some groups,one pupil hold up the picture and others will talk about the weather .

4.Listen and say ,then sing
   Before singing the song have the students look at the picture and describe it.

Step3ractice
Look and copy the words to complete the text.
Act it out.

Step4: Homework.
Copy the words and the sentences.

Introduce the four seasons of the year.
On the board, write the words ‘spring’, ‘winter’, and ‘autumn’
Draw a big sun, some snow, a small flower and some leaves under the respective pictures. Number the pictures 1-4.
Point to the picture of the sun, Say, ‘It’s summer.’  And have the students repeat the sentence.
T: Summer.  Ss: Number1.
Practice in pairs

Step 2 Presentation:
Listen and point
Get the students to look at the four pictures. Hold up my book and point to the ‘spring’ picture. Say ‘It’s spring.’ And have the students repeat the sentence.
T:  Summer.  S: They go swimming.
Play the tape.
Review the words ‘warm’, ‘ hot’, ‘cool’ and ‘cold’.
Listen and say
Tell the students to close their books again.
Play the tape.
Look, ask and answer
Have the students read the example dialogue.
Do an example with the class.
Continue the activity in pairs.
