How many months are there in a year?
教学目的及重难点分析:
1.会说会用这些句子:
How many months are there in a year?
Each season has three months.
Spring begins in February.
2.会说会用会写这些单词 March April May June December
3.了解一年四季的划分。
课前准备:
1.教师准备March April May June December这些单词的图卡和词卡。
2.把单词制成一些不完整的词卡,每个单词中的某个音节缺失,如:
M –ch Mar -- - pril Apr-- M -- J-ne
--cember De---ber Decem ---
3. 准备一份年历。
教学过程
8. 热身(Warming up)
1)师生共同吟唱第7课课后的歌谣。
2)师生问答复习学过的月份。

2. 新课展示(New Presentation)
词汇学习。
1) 老师拿出七月份的月历和学生问答:
What’s this in English?
It’s July.
What is the month before July ?
老师出示月历,从小声到大声反复说:It is June. It is June. It is June.
示词卡,拼读拼写单词 :
让学生通过有缺失的词卡拼读出单词 :J-ne --ne
What is in June? The Children’s day is in June.
It is on June 1st.
Whose birthday is in June ?
让生日在本月的同学大声说:
My birthday is in June.之后,全班同学集体从复三遍June June June 。
老师再和这些生日在当月的同学问答:
Which season is it in?
(Summer.)
What about the weather in June?
(Hot.)
What is the best sports in June ?
(Swimming.)
2) What is the month before June ?
It’s May. (出示月历)。
示词卡,拼读拼写单词 :
让学生通过有缺失的词卡拼读出单词 :M-- -ay May
看谁记得快。之后师生问答:
Whose birthday is in May?
Which season is it in?
Summer begins in May.
What day is the May 1st ? May 1st is the Labour Day.
What can we do in May?
We can go climbing, go boating… .
3)The Spring Festival is in February. What is the month after February?
引出单词:March. (出示月历)March is after February 。
示词卡,拼读拼写单词 : March
让学生通过有缺失的词卡拼读出单词 :M--ch Mar-- March
老师可以对这个月进行一些描述:
Spring begins in February. March is after February. March is in spring. The weather is already warm.
What can we do in May?
Roller skating, fly kites.
4) What is the month after March?
It’s April. (出示月历)。
示词卡,拼读拼写单词 : A-pril
让学生通过有缺失的词卡拼读出单词 : -pril Apr-l April .
老师引导学生对这个季节进行描述:
In April,the weather is fine.The trees are green. There are flowers in the park.We can go boating or climbing in April.

5)老师把月历从第一个月往后翻,师生一起把学过的这些月份一一读出,读到最后一个月,学习单词December
The last month is December. (出示月历)
让学生通过有缺失的词卡拼读出单词 : --cember De---ber Decem--
师生问答巩固单词:

Yes, it is.

Christmas Day is in December.

2) 游戏:Who knows?
老师先让学生熟悉一年中的这些节日,之后把十二个月的单词卡分发给十二个同学,然后老师带领全班同学拍着桌子说:

拿着该节日所在月份的同学迅速站起来,回答:
The New Year, the New Year , The New Year is in January.
