小学四年级英语全册单元教材分析

教学参考 Module 1  Numbers
【教材分析】
本模块复习了三年级是学习的有关数字、颜色的单词。
1.        复习数字1---20
2.        学习20---100的数字表达法
3.        复习有关颜色的单词
4.        Have\has got 句型及其一般疑问句的练习
Unit 1   seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty!
1.        review: count from 1 to 100. Pat: the numbers above 20. Help them find out the rules.
2.        listen to the tape. But don’t spend too much on the text.  Collect the key words to practise. That’s enough.
3.        how to read: Hooray.
4.        try to write and practise:   
colours: red, green, blue, yellow, purple, pink, white, orange
numbers: thirteen, … nineteen.
5.        compare :                   ten

3.        read and recite the text.
4.        write down:  have you got an elephant?   Yes, I have.
            Have you got a tiger?       No, I haven’t.
            Have you got a lion?        Yes, I have.

5.  pair work: chain game art 2.  
Have you got a…?   Yes, I have.\No, I haven’t.
6.  say:   twenty and one is twenty-one…..Quicker and quicker.

Module 2     Directions
【教材分析】
本模块主要涉及到了一些表示方向和方位的单词既表达法。如:go straight on, turn left, turn right, next to, up the hill, down the hill, near the houses, at the station. 还要注意几个常用的句子:  This dog is lost.

Unit 1  Go straight on
1. talk about the directions.  Left-right, up-down, east, west, north and south.
2. lead to read. Pat: This dog is lost.

                Thank you so much.!  You’re welcome!
3. read the text fluently. Then have a role play.
4. talk with your partners:  How to get to the supermarket\school\zoo?
5. game:  turn left, turn right, go straight on.
6. activity book.

Unit 2  It’s at the station
1. review the directions   left, right, up, down, next to, near, at.
2. learn some new words: train, hill, house(s), station.
3. listen to the tape. And read. Then try to recite. Imagine when you listen or read.
4. talk with your partner: how does Amy\Daming\Sam|Lingling get to the station\supermarket\school\house?
5. chant.
6. activity book.
7. homework: recite and copy the text in Unit 2.

Module 3   Activities
【教材分析】
本模块拟学习一些活动的名称。如:taking pictures, writing a letter, talking to her friend, play with a toy train, listening to music, watching TV, reading a book(reading books). 涉及到的语法现象是现在进行时。Be+doing.有必要对学生讲清这个概念,并让学生了解什么是动词的现在分词。有些动词是要做一些变化的。如:write--writing, take—taking提醒学生注意这些变化,并掌握其规律。多做一些现在进行时态的句型练习。
  Unit 1 She’s writing a letter.
1. first look at the pictures. Think who is he\she? What is he\she doing?
  Talking to your partners. Then to the whole class.
2. listen and check. Say it again.
3. Pat : these sentences with –ing.
                She’s writing a letter.
                He’s taking pictures.
                She’s talking to her friend.
               He’s playing with a toy train.
  Read and copy them. Then recite.
5.        Look at Exercise 3. What is he|she doing? Talk with the sentence patter you learnt just now.
6.        write down the sentences you say beside the pictures. Four students go to the blackboard and write it.  Then check together.
7.        activity book.
8.        homework: recite the text and write down the four sentences of progressing tense on your homework book. Hand it in tomorrow.
Unit 2  What are you doing?
1. review:    Be  +    doing
               am    ( I )
        be     is     (he, she, it, Amy…)
               are    (we, you, they)
now look at the sentences you know:
             She’s writing a letter.
             He’s taking pictures.
             She’s talking to her friend.
             He’s playing with a toy train.
2. new lesson. If you want to know what is somebody in front of you doing, you should ask “What are you doing?”. If you want to know what’s somebody else doing, you should say, “What is he\she doing?”
3. follow the teacher to read the text. Pat to the Wh- questions.
4. listen and repeat. Then try to recite.
5. game: what is he doing?   What is she doing?
6. listen and sing. Doing the actions.
7. pair work: do an action. Then ask and answer, “What are you doing?”
8. activity book.
9. homework: recite and copy the text in Unit 2.
Module 4  In the park
【教材分析】
本模块继续学习现在进行时态,第三人称单数、复数形式特殊疑问句和陈述句的表达句型。
What are they doing? They’re…
What is Amy doing?  She’s…
What is Daming doing?  He’s…
在学习中,涉及到了一些动词短语,要注意引导学生去记忆。
在句中,要注意are 的缩略形式和弱读现象。
单词表中,有15个单词或短语,都在Unit 1 的课文中。因此在处理这篇课文的时候,要考虑到这个问题。
Unit 1 What are they doing?
1. look at the wordlist, read them one by one. Pat: the spellings, and their
Chinese expressions.
2. follow to read the topic: What are they doing?
  Review:             What are you doing?
3. put the new words and phrases on the blackboard.
    Let’s, get on, lots of, interesting, thing, look at, people, park, lake, row, boat, men( man ), ( play )chess, drink, hungry
  Read together and comprehend them in your memory.
4. look at the pictures one by one. Follow to read sentence by sentence. Pat: the new words and phrases.  Then read the text loudly by yourselves. Teacher go to the crowd to help if someone needs.
5. read the words on the blackboard. Try to memory the sentence with them.   For exemple, let’s, get on   
we can say: Let’s get on the bus.
  Do it by yourself first. Then with your partners.
6. underline and write down such sentences:
      What are they doing?  They’re doing taijiquan.
                         They’re rowing a dragon boat.
                         They’re playing chess.
      What are they drinking? They’re drinking soybean milk.
8.        game, group work.
     What is he doing?  What is she doing?  What are they doing?
9.        activity book.  When we deal with Page 15, exercise 3, we can ask some students to read the sentence, so we can develop their reading skill.
10.        homework,read the text, and write down the new words. And complete this form:
      
        What _______ you doing?
        What _______ they doing?
        What _______ he  doing?
        What _______ she doing?
        What _______ Amy doing?
        What _______ Daming doing?
Unit 2 What is Amy doing?
1. listen to the tape. Choose the right answer to the question.
   What are Sam and Daming doing?  They’re playing football.
   What are Amy and Lingling doing?  They’re playing table tennis.
   What is Amy doing?  She’s running.
   What is Daming doing?  He’s watching TV.
2. check the answers.
3. try to write the sentences you hear on the book. Check then.
4. ask and answer with your partners.
5. activity book. Unit 2. complete the exercises.
6. sing a song.   Row a boat.
7. listen to the word list. Try to write down the words. Then line them into a sentence in Unit 1.
8. homework: write the words in memory.

Module 5  Food
【教材分析】
本模块是有关中西快餐文化差异的题材,在学习这部分知识的过程中,我们要让学生了解中西快餐在种类、营养、文化上的差异,提倡学生尽量少食用麦当劳,肯德基之类的西方快餐,要多吃中式食品,多吃水果和蔬菜。
语言点:1. 继续复习现在进行时态的问答句。
          2.一般疑问句的问与答
             Do you want some rice\noodles?
             Yes, I do.   \    No, thank you
             Have you got chopsticks \fast food in England?
             Yes, we have.   No, we haven’t.
Unit 1  Do you want some rice?
1. watch TV, and listen and read the text.
2. collect the new words.  Chinese, fast food, want, some, make(making),nice, chopsticks, difficult.
  Help them get rid of the difficulties. Then rememory the sentences in the text. Such as,  chinese, fast food
                Look, Amy. Chinese fast food!
3. let’s talk. Who’re they? What are they doing?
Does Amy want some rice?
Does Amy want some noodles?
How about the chopsticks does Amy think?  
Has Amy got chopsticks in England?  
Has Amy got fast food in England?
4. write these sentences on the blackboard. And practise.
      Do you want some rice\noodles?
           Yes, I do.   \    No, thank you
      Have you got chopsticks \fast food in England?
           Yes, we have.   No, we haven’t.
What is he doing?  He’s making noodles.
5. listen, read and imagine:  What happens to Daming and Amy?
                        What do they say to each others?
6. role play:   1) boys  VS  girls
             2) groups  VS   groups
             3) pair work
             4) performance  
7. activity book
8. homework:  Exercise 3. write down the sentences on your book.

Unit 2  I’m making dumplings.
1. review, present progressing
                  are    you
              are    they   
What        are Sam and Daming         doing?
             is     he  
              is      she
            is     Amy

   
2. now look at the text and read. Pay attention to  am\is\are + doing
3. underline following sentences:  
             What are you doing?
             I’m making dumplings.
             I’m cooking vegetables.
             Do you want some ?
             Yes, please. \ No, thank you.
4. pair work. Role play.
5. rhyme. Read together and say. Pat: the words with - a
              Make, cake, pan, as, can, fast.
6. game: according to the pictures in Exercise 4, ask and say.
7. activity book.
8. go over the whole module . and read and write the words.

Module 6   Abilities
教材分析:
本单元的内容比较简单。语法项目主要是表示能不能、会不会做某事的句型  Can you …?及其回答,Yes, I can. \No, I can’t.
还有几个学生们早已熟悉的表示动作或活动的短语,如:run fast, jump high, jump far, ride fast, make a cake, play the flute, wash clothes, draw a dragon. 讲这一模块时,可以将教学活动安排得紧凑些,在短时间的又快又好地完成学习任务。
Unit 1  Can you run fast?
1. listen and repeat.
2. questions and their answers.
       Can you run fast?  Can you jump high?   Can you jump far?
       Can you ride fast?
       Yes, I can.     No, I can’t.
Notice:  can’t, the pronunciation in America differs from its in
England.
3. affirmative sentences:  I can run fast.
I can jump high.
I can jump far.
I can ride fast.
  Negative sentences:   I \you\he\she can’t run fast.
I \you\he \she can’t jump high.
I \you\he \she can’t jump far.
I \you\he \she can’t ride fast.
4. role play
5. activity book.
  Unit 2   Yes, I can.
1. listen and choose.
2. read and answer by self. Then pair work.
3. write down the answers on the book.
4. copy the questions and their answers.
5. group work. Can you…?  Yes, I can.   No, I can’t.
6. activity book.
7. sing and do the actions.
8. Exercise 4, listen and point. Then write down the sentences.

  As a homework, either.
9.        review the whole module. Read and write the words or some phrases, even some important sentences.

Module 7 Travel单元教材分析:
本模块的主要语法现象是be going to 结构。Be going to 表示在不久的将来打算干某事,准备干某事。有很强的主观色彩。七、八模块主要呈现了第一人称的句子结构。I’m\We’re going to …. 在教学过程中,老师可以适当提及第二人称和第三人称的句子结构,并作一些相应的练习。重点在动词be的选择。如果需要的话,还可以引申出 Where are you going to go ?这个问句。
Unit 1   We’re going to go to Hainan.
1. talking. When do you get up every day?
         When are you going to get up tomorrow?
         If your family is going to Qingdao at 8:00 tomorrow morning, when are you going to get up?
2. be going to do sth.  
E.g. I’m going to get up at 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.
We’re going to Beijing this summer.
3. new class. Mr Smarts are going to go to Hainan tomorrow. What are they doing? Look and listen.
4. repeat. Role play.
5. underline the sentences with be going to
  We’re going to go to Hainan tomorrow.
  We’re going to go by plane.
  We’re going to get up at 5 o’clock.
  I’m going to swim in the sea.
  I’m going to visit my grandpa. And I’m going to swim, too.
  I’m going to swim now.
5. look at the TV and talk.

Unit 2  we’re going to visit the Ming Tombs

Where did you go before?
Have you ever been to Beijing?
Do you know some sites of Beijing?
   Mr Smart’s lives in Beijing. I think they often go to some famous places in Beijing. Do you think so? Tomorrow their classmates are going to Ming Tombs. Let’s look at them.
2. listen and watch. Then repeat.
3. underline :  We’re going to visit the Ming Tombs tomorrow.
4. review some names of animals.
5. role play.
6. game:  We’re going to go to Beijing.  I’m going to go to Hongkong.They’re going to go to Beijing and he is going to go to Hongkong.

10. review the whole module. Esp: new words.

Module 8  Sports Day单元教材分析:
本模块继续学习 be going to 句型。What are you going to do?我们可以将这个句子和 Where are you going to go?相对比帮助学生找到异同。
What are you going to do?
Where are you going to go?
Where are you going to go?还可以省略为:Where are you going?(课本对话中出现了。)
在学习本模块的过程中,我们可以鼓励学生积极参加各种体育活动,选择适合自己的体育方式,提高身体机能,提高生活品质。


Unit 1  What are you going to do?
1. list some sport activities.
Play basketball, play volleyball, play table tennis, swim, play football, high jump, long jump, run(100 metres, 200 metres)
  Talk together. Which one do you like? If we have a Sports Day, what are you going to take?
2. Do you want to know what Daming does? Watch and listen please.

Module 9  Happy birthday!单元教材分析
单元教材分析: can 既可表示能力,也可以表示请求别人允许。本模块can的用法主要是后种。Can I do…?  Can you do…? 当这样的句子用来请求别人的允许时,回答时就会有一些变化,不能简单的说成:Yes, you can或者No,you can’t.  二要委婉的说成:Yes, please\of course.  或者, Sorry, you can’t.
本模块涉及到的文化现象是万圣节前夜:Halloween. 可以组织一定的游戏或者表演来锻炼学生的语言交际能力。
Unit 1    Can I have some sweets?
1. talking. What do you do on your birthday?  What happened once?
2. today is Amy’s birthday. But she forgets it. She goes home after school. And she is hungry. So she asks her mother for some food. But her mother always say no to her. Why?
3. listen and imagine.
4. repeat. Then underline the sentences with CAN.
5. role play.
6. look at the picture in Page 35.

Yes, you can.   Sorry, you can’t

1. talking about some festivals in America. Review them.

6. game: find some pictures of food, fruit, vegetables etc. performance.

       Yes, please.   No, you can’t.

8. homework. Write some sentences begin with Can. Refer to the pictures.

Module 10  The months单元教材分析
玲玲正在数每个月中有多少同学过生日。从玲玲和斯马特老师的交谈中,我们可以听到、学到1----6月的英语名称。在unit 2 中,我们要亲自数一数7----12月份中的生日数。从而学习这些月份的用法。这12个单词大多拼写比较复杂,只需要认读就可以了。但简单一点的,如:March, May, June, July等,要五会(听说读写译)
顺便复习以下几个天气符号。
有几个句型要强调复习。1. there be 结构  2. how many…are there…?
3. be going to
Unit 1   There is one birthday in May.
1. talking about the months. How many months are there in a year? What are they?
2. write their names on the blackboard.
   January   Februry   March     April      May      June

   July      August   September  October  November  December
3. count. Whose birthday is in January\ Februry\ March\April\ May\ June?
  Come and count please.
4. say such sentences:
