The teaching syllabus says that it's necessary for teachers to use modern teaching facilities. It's of great help to increase the class density and improve our teaching effectiveness. It can also make the Ss reach a better understanding of the text by creating a lively and fun classroom atmosphere. At the same time, it arouses the Ss’ interest in learning English.

Step II: Lead-in

Aims: Bring out the topic.Stimulating the students.Revise some kinds of foods.

Teachers' activities: Lead-in by using pictures to classify kinds of foods.

Students' activities: Try to remember all the key words and use key words to speak up sentence patterns fluently.

Step III: Discovering

Aims: Enable the students to cooperate with their classmates and try to discover "the rules of some plurals of countable nouns".

Teachers' activities: Organize and help the Ss to discover the rules of the "the rules of some plurals of countable nouns".

Students' activities: Take part in the discussion and try to discover the rules of "the rules of some plurals of countable nouns".

Step IV: Share the survey

Aims: Have students know how to talk about likes and dislikes. They will be able to express: I like ...; I don't like ...; He likes ...; He doesn't like ...

Teachers' activities: To encourge the studens express their own and others' likes and dislikes by reading.

Students' activities: Get the information quickly form the article. Write about their likes and dislikes.

Step VI: Free talk: likes and dislikes in our daily life

Aims: Talk about own parents' likes and dislikes.

Teachers'activities: Show the students picture. Help the students by giving properinstructions.

Students'activities: Care for and love their parents.

Step VII: Homework

Aims: To consolidate the contents the students have learnt. To cultivate the students’ rememberinging  the words skills by using mind-map.

Teachers' activities: Try to write about your own parents' likes and dislikes.

Students' activities: Try to write about your own parents' likes and dislikes.

Unit 6 Do you like bananas? 名词 可数名词和不可数名词： 不可数名词：meat、milk、rice、bread … 可数名词复数的构成： 1、一般直接在名词的后面加-s 2、以-s,-sh,-ch,-x,-o结尾的名词加-es. 3、以辅音字母+y结尾的名词，先将y改i，再加-es.
