能力目标:创设情境使学生通过所学语言对旅行前所需物品进行简单的描述,进而提高实际语言运用能力,促使学生的语言技能的发展。

教材分析:本课讲授了李明他们在旅行前都做了哪些准备,重点讲了三个单词。同时以出现了pack my suitcase   What’s the weather forcast ?两个知识点,学生对此理解即可。
学情分析:学生对衣服的单词比较熟悉,对天气类词语也比较熟悉。从学生已知知识入手会比较容易。
教学过程
一、复习学习单词
(出示课件或卡片)
1、T:these are clothes . clothes ,say it please

设计意图:由复习衣服类单词引出clothes,学生接受起来比较容易,比老师单独教授clothes这个单词的效果要好。
2、(出示车票)
T:This is a ticket .what is it ?

同样教授suitcase  jacket 注意读单词时要采取多种形式读,以巩固所学知识。
设计意图:以句型形式教学单词,将单词与句型的教学相结合,达到单词教学的真正目的。
二、导入课文
1、T:LiMing,Danny and Jenny are going on a trip to Beijing.Tomorrow ,they are going to leave for Beijing.What do they need for the trip?(板书)
指点:need 需要
听录音,找答案
2、小组讨论:What do they need for the trip?并汇报讨论结果。
T: Yes ,you are very good .They need tickets clothes and suitcase .
设计意图:通过小组讨论,增强学生合作意识,有利于新单词的巩固,教师的积极肯定使学生感受到小组合作成功的喜悦,持续了学生学习兴趣。

设计意图:图文同时出现,从英语入手,让学生通过图片理解packing suitcase的含义,印象会更深刻。
4、 LiMing is packing suitcase. .What clothes does he need ?听录音理解课文
根据上下文理解What’s the  weather forcast ? (教师适进指点)
设计意图:让学生带着问题去听,集中了学生的注意力,培养了学生良好的听力习惯,提高学生听的能力,根据上下文理解句子的含义,通过教师指点,更有利于学生理解课文,达到培养学生阅读理解课文的好习惯。

一、Class Opening and Review:
1、Play“This That” to review demonstrative pronouns. Ask the students to get out their flashcards for clothes.
(指着自己拿的卡片): I (don’t) like this/these____.

二、Key Concepts:
packing my/your/his/her suitcase
1、Introduce:
Use a big box as a pretend suitcase, draw and cut out clothes on paper to demonstrate“packing my suitcase”.Use demonstrative pronouns to make choices about the clothes you “pack”.教师把自己需要的衣物放进手提箱去的同时可说:I want this/that/these/those____.通过演示使学生明白该情境是在打点行装。进而理解:packing your/his/her suitcase
2、Use the Student Book and Audiotape:
(1)Review the story so far. Jenny, Danny and Li Ming are going on a trip to Beijing. Look at the pictures in the student book. Ask two questions:

Listen to the tape and answer these questions:
C1: Li Ming is packing his suitcase.
C2: Jenny is helping Li Ming.
(2)Guess what “Don’t forget____.”means.
课件出示几个场景,如出示一幅离开家准备上班的图片,鼓励学生说出:Don’t  forget your key.再比如出示下雨天场景, 学生说出:Don’t forget your umbrella.
三、Practice:
1、分角色对话:
男女生分配不同角色,两组进行比赛,唤醒学生学习语言的竞争意识,提高学习的趣味性与自觉性。The boys will be Li Ming. The girls will be Jenny.
2、Divide the class into pairs. Ask each pair of students to make up a dialogue about packing a suitcase. One student packs and one student helps. They can use their flashcards for clothes, use a pencil case as a pretend suitcase for “packing”the clothes. Brainstorm some phrases with the students first and encourage them to experiment with different phrases:
