第二部分   教学过程
第一步:重难点突破
1. T: Nice to meet you, boys and girls. Today we will learn Par A of Unit 1 The first day at school, Fun with English, Grade 5.同学好,今天我们学习牛津小学英语5A第一单元The first day at school的A部分。
Welcome back to school. This is the first lesson of the new term. 今天是新学期的第一节课。
We will learn something about the school.
First of all, could you please tell me what is in your school? 我很想知道在你们学校里有些什么呢?Maybe there’s a playground, there are many teachers. Can you say something like this? 你能像这样说一说吗?( PPT3)

2. T: I think there are a lot of things in your school. 我想,你们学校里一定有很多东西。Now, try to guess what is in my school. 现在请你们猜猜看我的学校里有什么呢?You may ask with the sentences: Is there a …? Are there any …? 可以用这两句来提问:

   (本步骤设计说明:本节课课文对话生词比较多,there be句型难以理解又易混淆。教师通过让学生说一说自己学校里的设施,对there be的陈述句有所熟悉之后,安排一个猜的游戏,不但让学生能更好地投入到课堂中,还帮助学生理解新的知识。在同桌完成表格的过程中,学生对How many …?的句式有了初步的认识。)
第二步:课文学习
1.        (此处,老师直接引出课文旁白。)
T: Boys and girls, let’s look at this picture. 同学们,看这张图片。(PPT7)It is the first day of the new term. 今天是新学期的第一天。
T: Here are two new words. Read after me. 这里有两个新单词,跟我读: first, firstthe first day;
Term, term the new term the first day of the new term.

  T: 下面请同学们自己读一读,然后小组内分角色朗读,读的过程中尽量记住课文主要内容。
(本步骤设计说明:本部分教师利用图片直接引入课文旁白部分,在和学生讨论图片的过程中呈现课文的主要内容。本部分新授单词和词组比较多,老师要耐心示范,给学生足够操练的时间)
第三步:巩固操练
1.  T: Boys and girls, do you remember? 同学们读过课文之后都记住了吗?下面我们一起来看下这些短语,它们能帮助我们复述课文。(PPT17    PPT18)
   T: Let's read it together.我们一起来读一下吧。

2.  T: All right. Now, let’s try to retell the text. I will give you the model. 虽然复述课文有点难,但我相信你们绝对可以做到!老师先示范一下

第三部分 说 明
     在本节课的开头部分,教师通过让学生说和猜各自学校的情况分散了课文的重点难点,帮助学生对there be 句型有了一定的了解,减轻了后面的课文学习负担。所以本节课的重点难点在there be 句型的引入教授和运用。教师要把大部分时间和精力放在这个部分,通过不断地运用来理解句型的意思并能区分出单复数名词的不同。此外,从五年级起,教师可加强对学生整段复述课文能力的训练。这样的设计比较有层次,通过训练梯度的设置,学生不会感到太大的难度,易于学生更好的掌握课文。

第二步:词汇学习
用时:10分钟
1.  T: Now, let's play a guessing game. 下面让我们来玩个猜谜游戏。Look at this picture. Try to guess: What’s this? 猜猜看这是什么?( PPT6缓慢点击鼠标4次,出现完整的图片)
   T: Right. There are a lot of trees and flowers. What’s this?
   T: It's a garden. (PPT7出现单词:garden, 带读,教授)
2.  T: Excuse me, is there a slide in the garden? (PPT8 带读,教授新词汇:slide)
   T: What about the swing? ( PPT9带读,新授词汇:swing )
   T: And there is one more place. What is it? (PP10 稍作停顿)
    T: Yes, it’s a toilet. (带读,新授)
    T:Actually, most of the time, we call it restroom or washroom. 事实上,restroom和washroom用得更多一些。(PPT10 点击鼠标,出现restroom和washroom 带读)
4.  T: Now, open your books and turn to page8. Let’s review the words together. 请同学们把书翻到第八页,我们一起把所学的新词复习一下。 Follow me, please. 请跟我读。
5.  T: Boys and girl, look at the screen. 同学们请看屏幕。There are three places. 这里有三个场所。They are garden, reading room and building. What's in it? Think it over. 想想看,三个场所里面会有什么?(PPT12)

(本步骤设计说明:本部分的词汇较少,因此教师根据学生的实际生活补充了 computer room, TV room, restroom, washroom等单词,并把单词的教学和句型的运用相结合,为CD部分的练习开展打下基础。设计的猜地点的游戏帮助学生对there be句型进一步理解,也帮助他们进一步巩固所学知识。)
第三步:句型操练
用时:5分钟
1.  T: OK. Boys and girls, we knew something about the new building in Wang Bing's school last lesson. 同学们,上节课我们已经知道王兵学校里新大楼的一些情况。And we will know more about his school. 今天,我们要了解更多关于他的学校的情况。
   T: Look at the picture. (PPT15  课本中C部分4组图片)
   T: This is a computer room. 如果我们想知道他的学校里是不是有计算机房,我们可以问:Is there a computer room in the school? 如果有,可以回答: Yes, there is.如果没有,可以回答:No, there isn't.
      Now, read after me.请跟我读。
2.T: (PPT16) Look at this picture. What are they? They're songbooks. What's this? It's a bookcase. 如果我们想知道书柜里到底有没有歌本,我们可以问:Are there any songbooks in the bookcase? 如果有,对方可以回答: Yes, there are. 如果没有,对方会回答:No, there aren't.
      Read after me, please. 请跟我读。
   T: Can you talk about these pictures like this? 你们能像刚刚那样谈论图片吗?Now, open your books and turn to page 9. Practice picture 2 and picture 4.请大家打开书,翻至第九页,练习图片2和4。(PPT17)

4.  T: See, what's this? It's a TV room.
     If you want to know how many TV rooms in the building. You may ask: How many TV rooms are there in the building? 如果你想知道在大楼里有几个电视机房,你用这个句型来提问。(PPT20)

     本节课以教授和操练BCD部分的单词、词组和句型为中心。教师先帮助学生回顾课文中已学的旧知,然后呈现新的4个单词,并作适当的拓展。在教授新单词的过程中,坚持将句型和单词与实际生活的情景相结合,在具体的场景中进行对话操练,帮助学生在实际生活中灵活运用所学知识。

第三部分 说 明
     本节课中,教师首先带领学生复习了这个单元已经习得的知识,为后面的学习打下了基础。然后教师针对不同的板块设计了不同形式的学习方法。在E对话和F看图说话部分,教师利用情景进行教学,并给学生自由发挥的空间,锻炼了他们灵活运用语言的能力。在语音部分,教师并未直接呈现句子,而是先让学生回忆具有类似读音规律的单词。在这样的板块复习课型中,教师既要注重单元知识的巩固,也要注重新知识的教授,同时还要兼顾趣味性和实用性。

第三部分  说明
本课时的主要目标是让学生学习有关“家庭设施”方面的词汇以及There be句型,能够运用简单的句型来表述自己的家庭设施,并对其他人的家庭设施状况进行提问。由于There be 句型在4B教材中已经初步接触,所以在本课的复习阶段先用一个征导游的小游戏让学生运用已学过的句子来介绍自己的学校,由此再引入杨玲家的新居。然后在课文学习中,教师放慢速度,耐心教授新单词和词组,这样就分散了本课的难点,最后通过对课文的整体把握,再让学生巩固课文内容。这样的设计较有层次感,适合学生接受能力和水平,便于学生更好地掌握课文。
