教学目标:
1、能够理解并朗读Let’s read部分的对话,并完成排序练习。
2、通过运用对话中的语句简单描述某个地点的位置和路线提高学生的语言实际运用能力。
3、进一步巩固a和e在重读闭音节中的发音,能够区分[a]和[e]发音的不同,并准确朗读或拼读Pronunciation部分的单词。
教学重点:能够听、说、认读Let’s read部分的对话。
教学难点:理解句子:What are you going to do after school? Get off at the cinema. Then walk straight for three minutes.
教具: 录音:Let’s read;Pronunciation和挂图。
教学过程:
一、 Warm –up(热身)
游戏一:说唱歌谣
(1)将学生分为两大组,一问一答形式说唱Let’s chant部分歌谣。
(2)教师出示P17插图,提问:Where is the cinema / bookstore / hospital / school?学生根据图中内容用恰当介词来回答。
游戏二:学唱歌曲
(1)播放Let’s sing部分录音,学生看歌词跟唱。
(2)教师提问歌词内容:Where are they going?
引导学生回答:They are going to the mall.
继续问:What are they going to buy?
学生充分用They are going to buy …. 猜测要买的东西。
(3)引导学生理解be going to表示打算要做的事情。
二、Presentation (新课呈现)
游戏三:谈论路线
(1)教师说:I’m going to buy a pair of shoes. How can I get to …?(熟悉的商店名)
引导学生用You can go by the No. … bus. 来回答。
接着问:Where shall I get off?(肢体语言帮助学生理解get off的意思。)Get off at the …?(说几个学生熟悉的站名)启发学生用Get off at ….说出正确的下车地点。
随便问几个学生熟悉的地方How can I get to …,引导学生运用句型You can go by the No. …bus. Get off at ….来回答。
(2)教师接着刚才的话题:Is the … near the bus stop?(用目的地离车站较远的地方举例。)学生回答:No. 教师继续说:Walk straight for … minutes.
(3)用肢体语言引导学生理解walk straight的意思,并示范朗读,学生跟读。
游戏四:认读对话
(1)学生自己阅读对话。
(2)教师就对话内容提问:
T:What is Mike going to do after school?
S:He wants to by a pair of shoes. ( He is going to buy a pair of shoes. )
T:Where is the shoe store?
S:It’s next to the hospital.
T:How can he get there.
S:He can go buy the No. 301 bus. Get off at the cinema. Then walk straight for three minutes. The hospital is on the left.(多让几个同学重复回答此问题,并强调这些句子的读音和意思。)
(3)请学生读以下短语或教师领读:shoe store, get off, walk straight。
(4)学生两人一组朗读对话。
游戏五:排序练习
(1)请学生朗读对话下面的四句话:Walk straight for three minutes to the hospital.
Get on the No.301 bus.
Get off at the cinema.
Go next to the shoe store.
(2)教师适当解释句子:Get on the No. 301 bus. Go next to the shoe store.
(3)学生依照对话内容独立完成排序练习,教师巡视检查辅导。
Get on the No. 301 bus.
Get off at the cinema.
Walk straight for three minutes to the hospital.
Go next to the shoe store.
三、Let’s play (趣味操练)
抢答地名
(1)教师根据当地的实际情况:Get on the No. … bus and get off at …. Then walk (straight for … minutes). Where is it?
(2)学生答出相应的地名。
(3)找几个学生用以上句子描述路线,其他学生进行抢答。
语音活动
(1)启发学生说出字母a和e在单词中的发音,认读音标[a],[e];教师强调两个音的口型区别。
(2)请学生拼读活动手册P15 (1)Play basketball中的单词,完成投篮游戏。
(3)学生朗读活动手册P15 (2) Read and match 部分的句子,并进行图句连线练习。
(4)再次纵向朗读本部分单词,感悟每组单词的相同发音,认读音标[k],[ɡ],[f],[v], [s],[z]。
(5)学生独立完成Read and match部分练习,教师巡视指导。
四、归纳小结
出示重点语句:You can go by the No. 301 bus. Get off at the cinema. Then walk straight for three minutes. The hospital is on the left. 学生朗读。
