　教学目标：
　　1、能听懂会说：
　　What is Spring Festival? It’s Chinese New Year.
　　How do you spend it? We say Happy New Year /make dumplings/ go to the fair / watch New Year programs on CCTV / have a big dinner / get pocket money.
　　Do you get pocket money? Yes, we do./ No,we don’t.
　　2、学习新单词及词组： Chinese, fair, dumplings, watch, program, get； Spring Festival, pocket money.
　　教学重点：
　　How do you spend it? We say Happy New Year /make dumplings/ go to the fair / watch New Year programs / have a big dinner / get pocket money.
　　教学难点： We watch New Year programs on CCTV.
　　教具准备：录音机，磁带、单词卡、自制图片
　　教学过程:
　　Step 1、 Warm up.

　　T:Yes,it’s money. Let’s see which group will get more money,OK?
　　3、Sing songs: A Merry Christmas 、 Happy New Year

　　1、T: In the westen countries, Christmas is the New Year,在西方国家，圣诞节就是新年。But in China ,which festival is the New Year? 但是在中国，什么节才是新年？
　　Ss: 春节！
　　T: Yes.It’s Spring Festival.(出示词组卡片Spring Festival教读音)
　　操练Spring Festival：spell、分音节读Festival、分组读、2 by 2读
　　2、T:Today we’re going to learn Unit 9 Spring Festival Lesson 19 (揭示课题，带读)
　Step3: Teaching and practice
　　1、T: What is Spring Festival? Do you know the other name of Spring Festival?春节又叫做……？
　　Ss:新年。
　　T: Yes，Spring Festival is Chinese New Year.(出示单词卡Chinese教读音：分音节)
　　Ss:……
　　T: This time ,let’s practice like this. Listen carefully.I say Spring Festival,you say Chinese New Year,then change.Understand?
　　Ss: Yes!
　　2、T: Now,can you tell me ,how do you spend it? (出示句型卡教读句子)
　　Ss:……
　　T: ‘It ’here means Spring Festival. Now ,you read it five times,and I write it down on the blackboard.

T: How do you spend Spring Festival? You can tell me in Chinese.你是怎么度过春节的？可以用汉语来回答。

　　3、T: There are so many things to do at Spring Festival.Just now somebody said 过春节的时候我们会去拜年。拜年in English, say Happy New Year.(出示词组卡片say Happy New Year教读音，在图片旁板书)

　　To you say Happy New Year? (板书Do you ……？)

　　Ss:Yes.

　　T: You say,I say ,so we all say Happy New Year,we can answer it‘Yes,we do.’ (板书Yes,we do. 及We教读音)

　　操练get pocket money：四面开花

　　T: At Spring Festival,we also make dumplings.Do you know dumplings?(出示单词卡dumplings教读音并操练：spell、分组读)

　　操练make dumplings：全班跟T做包饺子动作并朗读make,make,make, …… make dumplings

　　T:Do you make dumplings?

　　Ss: Yes,we do./No

　　T:If you don’t make dumplings ,you can answer ‘No,we don’t.’(板书No,we don’t.)

6、 T:事实上，我国南北方过春节是存在一些差异的。过年时北方人吃的是饺子，而南方人则通常是吃汤圆和年糕。虽然有差异，但是一家人都会团聚在一起吃团圆饭。We all have a big dinner together.(出示词组卡片have a big dinner教读音，在图片旁板书)

　　操练have a big dinner:男女生边读边做动作，个别读

　　To you have a big dinner?

　　Ss: Yes,we do.
T&Ss: We have a big dinner.

　　7、T: At Spring Festival, we go to the fair ,too.Do you know fair ?(出示单词卡fair教读音，板书词组)

　　操练go to the fair：“拍掌齐读，不拍则停”形式读fair,fair,go to the fair

　　T: Do you go to the fair？

　　Ss: Yes,we do

　　T&Ss: We go to the fair.

　　T: At Spring Festival,someone go to the fair,but someone stay at home and watch TV.(出示单词卡watch教读音并操练)

　　T:（出示一电视平面图）Look！It’s a TV.And this is ……（手指图片上的字CCTV）

　　Ss:CCTV.

　　T:What is CCTV? CCTV指的是什么？

　　S:中央电视台。

　　T:Yes.CCTV means中央电视台.There are many New Year programs on CCTV.(出示单词卡programs教读音：分音节)

　　操练programs：声浪、大小声、1 by 1 读

　　T:Follow me , programs↗↘, New Year programs.
