一 教学目标：
1、能听懂并准确描述学校设施，能正确使用 There be 句型，及其一般疑问句形式 Is/Are there …？ Yes,there is/are. 进行问答，能够正确替换运用 There be 句型一般疑问句形式的单复数形式。
2、能在日常生活交流中流畅自如地讨论学校设施并设计自己理想的学校。

二 教学重难点：

四 学情分析：
    在本册书的第四单元中已经学习了有关日常生活的内容，而对于小学生来说，日常生活中的大部分时间都是在学校度过的，所以对于这个学生已经很熟悉的地方，教师可以在真实的情境中引发学生对学习的热情，并联系实际生活，培养学生综合运用语言的能力。

教学过程：
                     Step1:Warm up
1. Play a guessing game:Who is the teacher?
   In this city,there is a school.
   In this school,there is an office.
   In this office,there is a teacher.
   Who is the teacher?
   You know it"s  Miss Liao.
( 结合图片引入单词 city,school,office,teacher)
2.Let’s chant!
( 伴随节奏一起读谜语，结合拍手）
3. Play another guessing game:Who is the principal?
In this city,there is a school.
In this school,there is a classroom.
In this classroom,there is a principal.
Who is the principal?
You know it"s  Mr.Zhou!
( 结合图片引入单词 classroom ）
4. Mr.Zhou will show us to visit our school.Let’s go.Ss enjoy the pictures of the school and say the words loudly.
( 校长带领同学们去参观学校，引出本课主题“ school ” )
5.Fill in the letters to review the words.

                  Step2:New presentation
1.Now let’s watch a video about ChengZhang Primary School.(学生观看视频短片。)
2. PPT shows :  teachers’office  and teachers’offices
There is a teachers’ office in our school.
There are some teachers’ offices in our school.
（板书重点句型 There is a.... /There are some....）
学生根据字母发音规则跟读单词、拼读单词，学习句型。
3. PPT shows: garden
T:  Is there a garden in our school?
Ss:  Yes. there is .
   （板书句型 ,操练。）

4.PPT shows: library
  T :  Is there a library in our school?
  Ss  : Yes. there is .There is a small library. (操练句型，动作讲解small)
5. PPT shows: library  and computers
      T:   Are there any computers in the library?
      Ss:  No, there aren't.
    （板书句型,游戏操练。）
6.Ss look at the picture of the book and watch the video.
7.Listen carefully and answer the questions.
     Q1. Is there a teachers'offce?
      A. No,there isn't.  B. Yes,there is.  
     Q2. Is there a small library?
      A. Yes,there is.      B. No,there isn't.     
     Q3.Are there any computers in the library?
         No, there aren't.
9. Ss listen and read after the video.
10.Pair work: Practice the dialogue with your partner.
11. Let's show: Ss act out the dialogue .
  
            Step3:Consolidation
1. Play a game: Can you guess?
(猜猜袋子里的物品，可以用以下句型提问 Is there a/an …？
Are there any …？来提问。猜中的学生将物品奖给他。)

2. T shows the office and my dream office.
    学生根据老师的 dream office 说句子
7.Pair work:Two students in a group design your dream classroom.You can choose the pictures and the words to finish it.
   (两人一组设计梦想的教室，可以选择图片和单词完成。)

(学生可以先画图，再结合图片上台展示图片和句子。)

                        Step4:Homework
1.Design your dream school and write down on the paper.
