1.Do some actions and get students guess,ask:What am I doing? Teach the new words and phrases.
2.Get Ss look at the pictures on P7 and speak out the daily activities quickly.
Then get Ss to match them with the pictures;
3.Hold a clock or draw a clock on the blackboard,ask:What’s this? What time is it? Teach how to read the time.Show the picture in 1a and then point to the clocks in the picture and ask Ss to tell the time.
Ask individual students :What time do you usually get up/eat breakfast/go to school?
Then ask others:What time does she/he get up…?
Offer help if necessary.
Ask Ss look at the picture again and say: What time does Rick do these things? Listen carefully and draw lines frome the colcks to the pictures.

Ask Ss to make a conversation with their partner. First set
an example.
1. Ask Ss to read the conversation in 2d. Then answer the questions below:
① Where does Scott work?
② What time is his radio show?
③ What time does he usually get up?
④ What time does he eat breakfast?
⑤ What time does he usually go to work?
2.Play the recording for the Ss to listen and repeat. Then let Ss work in pairs to practice reading the conversation.
3. Ask some pairs to come to the front and act out the conversation. See which group does best.
