教学过程

Step 1Warming-up

Learnsome new words.

Step 2 Work inpairs.

1.Talk about places you go to and how you get there.

How do you get there?

What’s the cheapest way to get there?

What’s the best way to get there?

2. Show somepictures.

3.Talk something about the pictures.

Step 3 Reading.

1. Play therecording and listen to the tape carefully.

2. Ask the students to read through thepassage.

3.Read the passage by themselves.

4. Read the text together.

5. Read the passage and number the ways of travellingfrom the most expensive to the least expensive in Activity 2.

6.Check with a partner.

7.Call back the answers from the whole class.

You can go from London to Parisby coach, plane or train. Travelling by plane is the fastest but also the mostexpensive.
