过去进行时的基本结构：was/weredoing
它表示过去某一时刻或过去一段时间内正在进行的动作。常考的时间状语有then,at that time, this time yesterday, at ten yesterday等词连用。
它常用在含有when或while引导的时间状语从句中。
—Whatwere you doing at nine last night? 昨天晚上九点你正在干什么？
—Iwas doing my homework at that time. 那时我正在做作业。
Mybrother was playing computer games when I came in. 当我进来时，我的弟弟正在玩电脑游戏。
