Step 2 Introduction 1.Show somepictures to learn the new words and read them together, especially payattention to their pronunciation. 2. Read themtogether, encouragement should be given. 3.Give them somehelp and ask some of them to read them in class. 4.Ask them somequestions as an inclusion, such as: How many seasonsare there in a year? What are they? What’s theweather like in…? Step 3 Listenand repeat. 1. Listen to thetape in Part 1,repeat after the tape together. 2. Close theirbooks and ask them to spell the words quickly. 3. Listen to thetape in Part 2, repeat after the tape. Then match the pictures, check answers. 4. Have a quicktest to say a sentences according to the pictures what they see. Step 4 Listenand point: 1.Listen to thetape in Part 3, repeat. 2.Read Part 3with the help of their teacher freely. 3.Read the dialoguein pairs. 4.Encourage themto have an action in class. Step 5 Discussion Work in pairs tohave a discussion: What’s your favourite season? Why? Then have an action inclass, more encouragement should be given. Step 6 Listenand write Listen to thetape in Part 5 and write the answers on their own, check answers one by one.Then ask some of them to read their answers in class.
