教学过程

Step 1 Warmingup

1.Revise thewords and expressions in Module 3.

2.Revise the keysentences: What’s this in English? How do you spell it?

3.Have a quickanswer.

Step 2 Introduction

1.Show some calendarsto learn new words of a week and read them together, especially pay attentionto their pronunciation.

2.Read all thenew words freely, give them some help and ask some of them to read them inclass.

3. Show them areal calendar to ask and answer: What day is it today? What day is it tomorrow?

4.Ask some ofthem to have an action in class.

Step 3 Listenand write

Listen to thetape in Part 5, check answers . Encouragement should be given.

Step 4 Readand answer

1.Read Part 1and answer.

a. Where arethey?

b. What day isit today?

c. What day isit tomorrow?

2.Check answersone by one.

Step 5 Listenand read

1.Listen to thetape in Part 1, read after the tape.

2.Read Part 1freely and give them some help. Encouragement should be given.

3.Work in groupsor pairs to act Part 1.

Step 6 Readand match

1. Read andmatch to finish Part 3, work in pairs to check the answers.

2. Read it inclass.

Step 7 Listenand write

1. Listen to thetape in Part 6 and write their answers.

2. Show theanswers to check their answers and give more encouragement.

3. Ask some ofthem to read the sentences.

Step 8 Askand answer

Ask and answerto finish Part 7.Ask some of them to have an action in class. Give them moreencouragement.

Read EverydayEnglish .
