Step 1 Revision
1) Ask and answer in pairs using these questions.
What’s your name?   How old are you?  Where are your from?
What does your father do?
2) Revise some old words.
Step 2 Presentation.
1)Teach the new words and sentences:
New words: policeman  policewoman  reporter
New sentences: Who′s he/she? He/She is my uncle/aunt.
What′s his/her job?
He/she is a policeman/ policewoman.
2) Practice saying these sentences.
Step 3 Practice.
  Divide the students into groups. Cute group and active group, practice asking and answering.
Step 4 Applications.
1) Act out the dialogue in groups.
2) Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the key words and sentence patterns.
Step 5 Homework
1) Listen to the tape at home.
2) To try to use the key words and sentences in daily life.
3) Copy the new words and sentences three time.

一、教学目标
1、知识目标:能够进一步熟练表达职业的常用说法。
2、能力目标:能听懂,会说要求的单词和句子。
3、 情感目标:进一步提高对英语学习的热情,培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。能积极主动地参与课堂活动,在情景对话中大胆开口,主动模仿。

二、教学重点
1. 学习掌握单词或短语:a, an, actor, parent(s), worker.
2. 掌握句型:What’s his/her job?  He / She is...
Who is he/she?  He / She is my...
三、教学难点
1. 通过创设真实典型的语言情景,让学生在轻松、愉快的气氛中,通过小组活动和完成任务的方式,自然运用所学知识,提高语言运用能力。
2. 让学生学会对家人进行描述。

四、教学过程
Step 1 热身 / 复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1. 做动作猜职业:请若干学生做出某种职业的动作,可以适当夸张,让大家猜出该职业。如:tailor, driver, writer, actor, actress, singer, dancer, dentist
2. 说职业做动作:教师将全班分成若干小组,每组选出一个代表,教师说出一种职业,代表们迅速做出动作。看哪组表现得迅速、形象,给以奖励。
Step 2 新课导入(Presentation)
1. 教师给学生3分钟时间,仔细观察课本的4张小图片,结合图片人物的动作和职业特点,快速记忆单词。
2. 播放录音,让学生先听后模仿跟读。
3. 选4名学生(两男两女)到讲台前,分别扮演fireman, policeman, waitress, waiter,教师向学生询问:What’s the boy? 或者 What’s his job? 引导学生回答:He’s a fireman.以同样的方式练习:What’s the woman? / What’s her job? She’s a policewoman.
4. 教师可以根据实际情况,补充一些内容,以满足学生的需要。例如:可以总结一下以man结尾的职业词:
milkman    送奶工
postman    邮递员
salesman    推销员
policeman    男警察
businessman    商人
5. 教师在黑板上示范板书Just write的单词(who, farmer, policeman, policewoman, who’s )和句子(Who’s he? He's my uncle. Who’s she? She’s my aunt.),边写边领读,写完后让学生齐读。然后,请学生到黑板上仿写。
Step 3 趣味操练(Practice)
1. 做“变脸”游戏,通过脸的变化,改变不同人物。将全班分成若干小组,把变脸的道具分发给各小组。以小组为单位,通过脸的变化来改变人物,进行问答职业的练习。学生通过询问职业,结合典型制服,加深对职业词汇的学习和记忆。
2. 小调查:每名学生发给一张调查表,根据表里的内容,调查自己亲朋的信息。         
3. 播放chant 的录音,让学生感知,操练 / f / 这个音素。可分解练习单词的发音 Ff→father→fireman→farmer→beef→fish→ fruit→ favourite→ food,教师应解释 favourite 的词义。

五、课后作业
复习本课所学,熟悉课后chant歌谣,唱给家人。
