Step 2 Presentation: 1.Teach the new words: Introduce actor actress factory future 2.Teach the new sentences: What does your father do? He is an acter. Is your mother an actress? What do you want to be in the future? I want to be an actor. 3. Listen to the tape. 4. Read after the teacher. 5. Practice reading in group. Step 3 Practice: 1.Look at the slide picture , listen and practice speaking in two steps—pair work 2. Act out this dialogue in situations. Step 4 Applications 1. Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the sentence patterns. |

一、教学目标
1、知识目标:能够进一步熟练表达职业的常用说法。
2、能力目标:能听懂,会说要求的单词和句子。
3、 情感目标:进一步提高对英语学习的热情,培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。能积极主动地参与课堂活动,在情景对话中大胆开口,主动模仿。
二、教学重点
1. 学习掌握单词或短语:a, an, actor, parent(s), worker.
2. 掌握句型:I want to be a doctor.
What's your dad? He’s a doctor.
What's your mum? She’s a nurse.
三、教学难点
1. 通过创设真实典型的语言情景,让学生在轻松、愉快的气氛中,通过小组活动和完成任务的方式,自然运用所学知识,提高语言运用能力。
2. 让学生学会对家人进行描述。
四、教学过程
Step 1 热身 / 复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1. 播放第13课的磁带。让学生集中注意力,听之前要注意两个问题:What’s Tom’s father? What’s Tom’s mother? 在听的过程中明确Tom 的父母的职业。
2. 学生以小组为单位,讨论Tom的全家,特别要注意介绍他的父母的职业:His father is a teacher. His mother is a tailor. 看一看哪个小组表现好,给予奖励。
Step 2 新课导入(Presentation)
1. 教师组织全体学生拿出自己准备好的全家福照片一起做游戏。教师明确小组要求,学生立即指出自己的爸爸并说:This is my father.He is a ....
2. 要求每组选出代表到讲台前做介绍。
3. 教师展示本课教学挂图,明确人物之间的关系。
4. 教师提出问题:
How old is Wei Min?
What’s his father?
What’s his mother?
What does he want to be in the future?
Listen to the tape and tell me the answers.
5. 播放录音,让学生听后回答问题。要根据实际情况选择听录音的遍数。
6. 请若干学生回答问题,教师要给予适当的鼓励评价。
7. 再放录音,核对以上问题的答案。
8. 教师请学生听录音跟读模仿。
Step 3 趣味操练(Practice)
1. 教师拿出事先准备好的全家福照片,首先向学生做示范介绍。
Hello, boys and girls, look at the photo of my family.
This is my father.He’s a doctor.This is my mother.
She’s a teacher.What do I want to be in the future?
I want to be a teacher.I love my father and mother.We are a happy family.
2. 教师将全班分成若干小组,让学生在小组内做自己家庭的介绍。
3. 请每组选一个代表到讲台来,拿着自己的家庭照片做介绍。教师和同学共同给予评价。
Come to the front and introduce the photo of your family to your classmates, please.
...
Thank you! You did a good job.Go back to your seat, please.
4. 教师举起代表不同职业的卡片,让学生抢答。如:教师举起一个出租车司机的图片,学生应立即说出 taxi driver,也可以反过来,教师说英语让学生举图片。
5. 互动游戏:在全班范围内以两人一组,选择自己的好朋友,交换家庭的照片,在真实的情景中复习巩固单词和句型。
6. 对话表演:以小组为单位,学生自行分配角色,三人一组,分角色演练本课对话。容,包括人名、年龄和国籍以及国旗的式样。
五、课后作业
复习本课所学,向同学介绍自己的家人及其职业。
