Step 2 Knowledge 1) Teach the new words and sentences， Teacher says: What’s your name？   And then ask: What’s her name？       What’s his name？ 2)Let’s sing : What’s your name？ 3)Introduce the new friends: Carl Cathy Carla Step 3 Comprehension 1) Play the tape and get the class to listen with their books closed. 2) Look at the slide picture and listen—Listen and point—listen and follow— practise speaking in two steps—pair work 3)Act out this dialogue in pairs.
