知识目标：学习用如何询问他人的年龄，描述其外貌和个性特点。

能力目标：使学生利用关键词对课文进行复述，培养学生听、说、读及英语表达能力。调动学生大胆说英语的积极性。

情感价值：增强学生学习英语的兴趣。能够积极主动参与课堂教学的各项活动。

1、        熟练掌握单词：eye, hair,  clever,  pretty 2、        理解并准确掌握句型 He looks very pretty. He is clever. What a good-looking boy！ Look at his yellow hair and blue eyes.

根据关键词复述课文。适当拓展课文内容。

一、一、Warming-up\Revision 1、Greeting 2、Read the new words. 3、Game: Guess who’s that girl？ 二、Presentation 出示本课挂图 1、Read the text once and find out new words. 2、Ss: Begin to read the text.学生第一遍泛读课文，找出不会的单词。 3、T : Now let’s look at the new words. 教师讲解课文中的新单词、短语。 4、多媒体出示课文相关信息表， 5、T: Now read the text once more. And fill in the blanks. You can discuss in your groups. Ss: Begin to read it.需给学生五分钟左右阅读。 6、填信息表 7、Ss read the text again. Read after the recording， or the teacher 8、 Retell the text.    学生根据图片和信息卡复述课文 三、Practice 1、T：I have eight pictures. which group can choose one picture and describe it. 2、        T: Well done children. Now let’s practice to describe them. Who can come here？ 3、        Ss describe the student. T: Great. Now let’s do the exercise.出示课件练习题。

四、Homework Describe your new friend in the exercise book.

教学反思： 本课是一节过程清晰，层层递进的对话课，在教学过程中，我遵循层层递进的原则，从已知到未知，从简单到复杂，从答语到问句，并且合理安排游戏活动时间和内容，使学生在轻松愉快的氛围下通过小组合作交流学习，自然地习得语言。整体来看，本节课有一下成功之处。 教学步骤层层递进，环环相扣，前后呼应。 游戏活动恰到好处，运用得当，发挥实效。在小学英语的教学的过程中，很多教师为了培养学生的学习兴趣，经常利用游戏。 合理运用多媒体辅助教学。 在教学过程中，也有一些需要改进的地方。 知识点的混淆要及时更正。 游戏活动时间要把握好。 在以后的教学中，我将扬长避短，合理安排教学步骤，教的得当，让学生学得轻松。

Step 3 Comprehension 1)Look at the slide picture and listen—Listen and point—listen and follow— practise speaking in two steps—pair work 2) Play the tape and get the class to listen with their books closed. 3)Act out this dialogue in pairs. Ask and answer according to the picture cards . Step 4 Applications 1)        Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the sentence patterns. 2)        Get the students to discuss in groups and raise some question this dialogue. 3) Get the class to practise the questions and answers in pairs. 4) Group work. Invite as many groups to act out the dialogue.
