一、教学内容与分析
1．Just speak

2．Just read and write
学习新词：boy，girl，student，做到正确听、说、认读。学习字母：kangaroo—Kk　 lion—Ll　monkey—Mm  nest—Nn 　owl—Oo，做到正确听、说、读、写。
3．Let’s play
运用猜人物的游戏帮助学生复习巩固本课所学单词和句型。
二、课前准备
1．准备一些图片，如：男孩、女孩、学生等，讲字母及单词用。
2．准备挂图或实物，一个梨，一个苹果，一个香蕉，学习对话用。
3．准备学生小时候的照片，做游戏时用。
4．准备kangaroo, lion, monkey,owl等动物布玩具或事先制作这些动物的木偶或面具。
三、教学步骤与建议
1．热身 / 复习（Warm-up / Revision）
（1）大家一起唱 Where are you from?
（2）表演第2课所学对话。
（3）教师准备小盒子，盒子里装有写着国家或地区名的卡片，学生抽签扮演不同国家、地区的人，复习句型Where are you from? I’m from ...
2．新课导入（Presentation）
（1）考虑到小学生喜欢动物、好奇心强等特点，建议教师利用动物kangaroo, lion, monkey, owl的布玩具或事先制作的动物木偶（puppet，先在纸上画动物，再把纸贴到小木棍上）或面具呈现对话内容。动物身上贴国旗表明来自不同国家。如：学生举着布玩具或puppet扮kangaroo，另一学生对同伴（扮演母亲角色）介绍kangaroo：S: Mum, this is my new friend, kangaroo．Mum: Hi, kangaroo．Where are you from? Kangaroo: I’m from Australia．（扮Kangaroo的学生尽量变音，用滑稽的声音回答。）学生轮流扮演不同动物，表演对话，学会用 This is ...介绍别人。
（2）看挂图，听录音，请学生说出boy 指的是谁，用此方法学习单词boy。
（3）招呼客人吃水果说Come on, ... Have some fruit．可运用图片启发学生用英语说出他们认识的水果，增加词汇量。Come on．一般用在口语中，表示招呼某人过来。
（4）观看并学习表演本课的对话。
（5）出示图片，讲解单词：boy, girl, student
（6）学习字母：kangaroo—Kk 　lion—Ll　monkey—Mmnest—Nn　 owl—Oo字母读音：Kk / kei / , Ll / el / , Mm / em /, Nn / en / , Oo / 玼 / , 注意k包含的元音是 / ei /。要求学生发挥想象，说说这些字母象什么。或鼓励学生用身体组成字母形状，让其他学生猜。
3．趣味操练（Practice）
（1）猜猜看。
每个学生把事先准备好的小时候的照片拿出来，打乱顺序，教师问：Who’s this boy? Who’s this girl? 学生抢答。
（2）Boy or girl．
蒙住一学生眼睛，另一学生变着声音向他（她）问好。蒙眼的学生根据声音猜：It’s a boy．或 It’s a girl．还可事先录音，学生分辨录音里的声音。
4．课堂评价（Assessment）
完成活动手册的内容。教师应引导学生懂得怎样用英语礼貌待客，认识boy，girl，student三个单词, 并在真实的情景中运用Come on, boys．Have some fruit．Thank you．等句型。
（1）看图逐一说出英语单词，听单词快速找出正确的图片。
（2）利用当天学习的新句型编小对话、表演给大家看，同学、老师一起讲评。（3）把Who is this boy /girl? 的句型进行改编或增加内容，全面复习巩固所学内容。
5．补充活动（Additional activities）
（1）建议学生回家后请爸爸妈妈吃东西，或来客人时，运用本课所学的句型说Have ... 并告诉学生，当爸爸妈妈说出想吃的东西时，应该有礼貌地双手递过去并说OK．Here you are．
（2）建议学生把当天学到的单词说给爸爸妈妈听，请他们打分。

1.Warm-up 2. Presentation

1. Review the letters, words and drills they’ve learned last lesson. Use the letter cards. Write the new letters on the blackboard. Use the pictures. Write the new words on the blackboard.

2. Act out the dialogues they’ve made in role. Learn the letters: K k--kangaroo, L l--lion, M m--monkey, N n--nest, O o--owl. Learn the new vocabulary “boy, girl, student” Learn the target language “Come on, boys. Have some fruit. Thank you.”. Learn the dialogue.

3.  Practice

Let’s play. Who’s this boy/girl?

Ask the students to listen to the tape recorder, and repeat after it. Let the students practice the dialogue in groups. Get the students to act out the dialogue in role.

1. Warming up（热身）
Play a song; ask some questions from students’ .Thus can increase students’ interest about this lesson, and also let students have some point in their mind about this lesson.（放歌曲，从歌曲里提问题，提高学生学这节课的兴趣.）
2. Presentation（新课导入）
1) Play a game. (Show some pictures and let them to guess what is it in that picture).做游戏，通过做游戏学习这节课的新单词。
2) Play a tape, let students follows it. Then I will explain the text to the students. Pick up new words and let students make sentences by using these new words. （让学生听录音，学生跟读然后老师讲解，讲解过程中找出新单词，引导学生造句）
New words: boy, girl, brother, sister
Sentences: This is my new friend. who’s this boy/girl? He’s my brother. She’s my sister.
Give them two minutes for making new sentences.
