Teaching Steps:

Step 1 Greetings:

Step 2 sing an English song “hello”

Step 3 Can you write down the letters?

     Help Ss to spell out letters

           Ii   Aa   Uu   Oo   ear

     Help Ss to pronounce correctly

           Ii   Aa   Uu   Oo   ear

Step 4 Presentation

   T : today we are going to learn unit4 “ We love animals”.

   Show the pictures and help Ss to read the words correctly.

    Teacher: What’s this?

Help them to say “it’s a cat.”  “pig”  “dog”  “duck”  “bear”

课后反思：

在本节课的教学中，我设计了多个练习，帮助学生识记单词。接下来，我通过“What’s missing”、 单词图片配对，帮助学生对所学单词进行巩固。最后，根据小学生具有爱表现、爱模仿的特点，设计了以小组为单位，戴上动物头饰打招呼的环节。这一环节体现出新课改中的“以学生为中心”，发挥了学生的主体作用。在这一环节，增加了学习难度，将新单词与前几个单元所学的内容结合起来，进行小组合作学习，有利于提高学生的整体意识和协作意识。

    不足之处：

    1、在单词图片配对这一环节，我要求一位学生上台将所有的单词卡与图片进行配对，难度较为偏大，不利于学生体验成功的喜悦。

    2、对于才刚接触英语的三年级学生来说，培养良好的课堂习惯非常重要。在本堂课上，很多学生不敢讲或者声音不够响亮。这在平时的教学过程中要注意培养，多给予学生鼓励。在今后的教学工作中，我要进一步提高自身业务素质，不断完善课堂设计，使学生学得轻松，学得有效。
