Step1: Warm-up
1. 教师放四年级下册第四单元B局部的歌谣录音,同学跟说歌谣并做出相应的动作。
2. 教师说:“We drink water every day. We need water every day. What else needs water?”教师出示Let’s start 局部的挂图,引导同学看图回答:Trees/flowers/animals/birds need water. Fish needs water, too.教师可以启发同学,想出更多动植物、昆虫名称,然后继续问:“Where does water come from?”引导同学回答:“It comes from rivers, seas, rain, snow …
Step2: Preview
Dialogue practice: What’s the weather like today? It’s … Do you like rainy days? Do you like sunny days? What do you do every day? Where does the water come from?

1. 教师拿出四年级下策第四单元rainy的单词卡片,说:“Today, we’re going to talk about rain. Where does it come from? Does it come from the sky? ”教师在黑板上画出雨的简笔画,板书rain并带读。
2. 教师提问:“Where does the rain come from?”引导同学回答:“It comes from the clouds.”教师画出乌云的简笔画,板书cloud并带读。同法引出vapour,sun。在引出四个重点词汇后,老师也在黑板上完成了一幅水循环的简笔画。教师继续问:“Where does the vapour come from?”引导同学回答:“It comes from the stream.”教师画小溪的简笔画,并板书带读:stream
3. 教师从上到下展示Let’s learn局部的挂图,请同学猜图上的景物。教师指着图中的景物提问:“What’s this?”引导同学回答:“It’s the sun/cloud/vapour/rain/lake/grass/stream.”
4. 同学两人一组,拿出自身的单词卡片。一名同学随意抽出一张卡片,根据卡片上的内容问:“Where does the … come from?”另一名同学从自身的卡片中拿出相应的卡片回答:“It comes from …”两人轮流提问。

Step1: Warm-up
1. 教师放歌曲“Little Water Drop”的录音,同学跟唱。
2. 日常口语练习。

Let’s talk
1. 教师利用Let’s try局部引出句型:Where does … come from? It comes from … 教师板书问答句,带读后继续提问:“Where does apple juice/milk come from?”引导同学回答。
2. 教师拿出rain的单词卡片,贴在黑板上,问:“Where does the rain come from?”引导同学回答:“It comes from the clouds.”然后,教师将cloud的单词卡片也贴在黑板上。用同样的方法在问答的过程中将其他三张卡片依次贴在黑板上,组成一个水循环过程的简易图。同桌之间根据单词卡片的提示进行问答练习。
3. 同学分成两大组,站成两列。两列同学轮流针对水循环的过程提问,如:“where does the vapour come from? It comes from the water.”
4. 教师一边演示水循环实验的过程一边用英文进行简单讲解。
5. 教师放本局部的录音,同学跟读。
6. 教师指导同学写出水循环的过程,看谁写得又快又正确。

1. 教师播放第68页上的歌谣,同学跟录音有节奏地说唱。
2. 日常口语练习:Where does the cloud come from? How does the water become vapour?

1. 请几组同学扮演A Let’s talk的会话。

Let’s read
1. 教师戴上小水滴的头饰,说:“Hello. I am little water drop. Nice to meet you.”教师与几名同学打招呼,引导同学用“Hello, little water drop.”应答。然后教师请一名同学上台,让他闭上眼睛,给他戴上风先生的头饰,让他睁开眼睛,教师对他说:“Hello, Mr Wind.”然后,请该同学走到同学中间,让其他同学用“Hello, Mr Wind.”同他打招呼。
2. 教师做出很热的动作说:“Little water drop is very hot.”然后教师展示本局部的挂图,分别指着小水滴和风先生问:“Who is he?”引导同学回答。教师说:“Little water drop takes a trip. Where does he go? How is his trip? Does he have a lot of fun? Let’s read.”
3. 同学打开同学用书阅读短剧。教师解答同学的问题。本局部的一个难点是比较级的用法,短文中涉和到的有cooler和higher。比较级是六年级下册的一个教学难点,因此教师可以在这里进行适当的讲解,为下一册的教学做铺垫。
4. 教师放本局部的录音,同学跟读。
5. 同学分小组朗读对话。
6. 教师指导同学扮演短剧。

看谁写的多:全般分成若干小组,分别在教师提供的字母卡片里抽出一张,然后小组成员一起写出该字母开头的单词,规定时间内写得最多的小组既是胜者。

1. 教师出示鲜花问同学:“Do you like flowers?”同学回答。教师继续问:“How do you plant flowers? What do you need?”同学可以用中文回答:“种子。”教师拿出一粒花种,说:“Yes, first we need flower seeds. Look! What’s this?”引导同学回答:“It’s a seed.”教师出示seed的单词卡片,带读单词。教师将单词卡片贴在黑板上,板书单词,同学拼读、书写。教师依次出示其他的种子,问:“What’s this?”引导同学回答:“It’s sunflower/peach/grape/pear/flower/… seed.”
