教学目标
1.听、说、认读hotel,fixed,broken,lamp,loud,enjoy,stay等单词。
2.能完成课本上的阅读,并能完成练习题。
3.了解意见书书写格式。
4.培养学生沟通交流的能力。
教学重点
1.理解Read and write的内容。
2.了解运用一般过去时描述事物的用法。
教学难点
1.熟练掌握文章中动词的过去式,并知道它们的原形。
2.通过阅读获取信息,完成对应活动。

2.录音机及录音带或教学光盘

教学过程
Step 1:Warm-up
1.师生相互问候。
2.说一说,做一做。教师做动作,学生复习had, slept, read, saw, last, yesterday, before, had a cold等词汇和短语。
3.师生对话。
T: How was your weekend?
S: It was good, thank you.
T: What did you do?
S:I stayed at home and drank tea.
T: Did you do anything else?
S: Yes,I cleaned my room and washed my clothes.
Step 2resentation
1.阅读前。
(1)教师提问学生是否住过酒店,引出单词hotel,并通过图片分别展示好的与差的酒店。请学生回忆曾经去过的印象较深的酒店是什么样子,能在酒店里做什么,和大家分享在酒店里遇到的愉快的或者不愉快的事情。
(2)教师在课件上呈现Mrs Broom的头像,向学生介绍:Mrs Broom works in a hotel.She is a housekeeper. What did she do yesterday?请学生选择:made the beds,cooked the food,cleaned the rooms等短语。
(3)教师介绍文段的背景:Wu Yifan and his family stayed in a hotel yesterday.It was not a good time.Why?请学生预测吴一凡一家人在酒店中的遭遇。
2.阅读中。
(1)第一次阅读。教师要求学生快速阅读文段后回答问题:How was Wu Yifan’s stay in the hotel last weekend?
(2)第二次阅读。教师要求学生细读第一段后回答问题:What was the room like?
(3)第三次阅读。教师要求学生阅读文段其他部分,找出Wu Yifan的爸妈以及Wu Yifan的困扰是什么,然后完成文段后练习部分。教师还可请学生注意文本中出现的动词短语,完成练习等。
(4)第四次阅读。教师放录音,请学生跟读,模仿正确的停顿和语音,语调。
Step 3:Consolidation and extension
1.(阅读后)教师请学生思考后回答问题:How do you feel about Wu Yifan’s stay at the hotel?
2.学生完成习题部分并核对答案。
3.读一读,比一比。学生先自由朗读课文,再以句子接龙的方式串读,看谁读得最好。
4.教师组织学生阅读文段并完成读后练习。
(如果课堂时间不够,可以布置为课外作业)

教师将以上短文改成Alice讲述她上周末的活动,请学生填空时注意时态和动词的正确形式。

1.听录音,跟读课文。
2.总结归纳阅读中的重要短语。

教学反思
小学生的集体荣誉感很强,所以课堂上可以采用小组竞赛的方式来组织课堂教学。为了团体的荣誉,学生会更加积极地参与到课堂中来,敢于开口,不怕表达错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动,积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。本课时设计鼓励学生通过观察、思考、探索等方式,发展说、读、写的综合能力,让不同层次的学生都学有所获。在英语课程安排上,除组织学生开展课文表演,课文复述等活动外,还应该经常根据所教内容,呈现与学生学习和生活相关的用语。并启发和组织学生用英语简单地讨论一些他们感兴趣的或大家共同关注的话题,这样既活跃了课堂气氛,提高了同学们的各项能力,又深化了教材内容。
