学英语不仅要学习英文知识,同时也要适当了解一些欧美文化的差异。因此,借助这节美食课,让孩子们在享受美食的同时,感受中美文化的饮食差异。因此,在这节课,我向孩子们介绍了西方的饮食文化。
T: Do you want to know the differences between Chinese and Americans?
In China,we usually use chopsticks and spoon .But in America, they use fork ,knife and spoon.
We usually have soup ,egg,vegetable and steamed bread for breakfast. But in America,they usually have bread, milk, juice, coffee and sausage...
孩子们看到国外的早餐的图片时,各各都露出了羡慕的表情。
Because they only have little time, so many of them always a snack for lunch. Such as :hamburger, sandwich and so on.Because it’s fast.
不少食物中国人把它称为垃圾食物,但却是孩子们爱吃的。这时,我听到一个小男孩说:I like hamburgers.不少孩子也附和道:Me too! I like hamburgers, too!我趁机说道:I like it,too.It’s yummy! But It’s bad for our heath,we should eat less.
紧接着介绍到的西方的晚餐以及周六和周日的brunch,整节课在轻松愉快的气氛中结束了!可对于中西方文化的好奇还在继续!我深深的感觉到:They like the culture! They are interested in it!
英语作为一门外语,基本停留在背单词、学语法、背课文的基础上。如果在英语学习过程中适当了解中西方文化的差异,对学习者而言,会产生一种新鲜感,激发出他们的学习兴趣,产生对知识的好奇与渴望,从而促进英语学习。
另外,通过了解这些文化,也可以知道西方人对不同事物的看法,了解他们的思想行为和习惯,了解他们的社会文化,避免交流尴尬。
因此,在教学英语的课堂上,我会继续传授这些文化,让学习充满欢乐和好奇,争取让更多的孩子拥有学习英语的主动性和动力,爱上英语!享受语言带来的乐趣! |
