八年级下册Unit 8 Have you read Treasure Island? SectionA 3a 教学设计

【教学目标】:知识目标:会读写单ship,tool,gun,sand,else,cannibals,towards,
land,technology,French.会找出并读出短语:arrive on this island, make a boat, bring back, give up, wait for, cut down, build a house, kill…for food, the marks of another man’s feet, who else, see sb. doing sth., run towards, help sb. do sth., name sb. …, teach sb. sth.
能力目标:学生能够正确找出阅读问题的答案。学生会运用目标语言来谈论自己喜欢的书籍。
情感目标:通过对课文的学习,让学生更加热爱读书,了解国内外的文学知识。
【教学重点】学生会总结说出本节课重要单词和短语。会理解和运用现在完成时的句子。
【教学难点】训练学生的阅读能力
【教学方法】1.Fast-reading method    2. Groupwork and pariwork
【教学用具】PPT  two books
【教学过程】
Step1 Revision and lead-in
Free talk: talk abou two books,
         T:Have you read  Robinson Crusoe? Today let’s talk about something about it.
(设计意图:温故而知新,复习上节课的内容引出本节课的内容)
Step 2 Learn the new words
ship, tool, gun, sand, else, cannibal, towards, land
Step 3 Reading
3a Read the passage and answer the following questions.
      What does Robinson Crusoe wait for?
      Why does Robinson Crusoe call the man Friday?
3b Read the passage again. Find words that have these meanings.
1. You can use these to shoot things: _____
2. Something you use to travel in the sea: _____
3. A piece of land in the middle of the sea: ______
4. You can use these to cut things: ______
5. Signs left behind by someone or something: ______
3c Correct the sentences.
1. Robinson Crusoe arrived on the island with enough food and drink.
2. Friday made a small boat.
3. Robinson had some food and tools when he first arrived on the island.
4. Robinson used the ship to build a house.
5. Friday saw some marks of another man’s feet on the beach.
6. Robinson tried to kill the two men.
(设计意图:给出阅读指导,让学生有方法的去阅读)
Step 4 sum-up the new words and phrasese (学生自我总结 )单词ship,tool,gun,sand,else,cannibals,towards,land,technology,
French.

(设计意图:让学生自己去总结单词和短语,锻炼他们的自主学习能力)
