☆指导思想与理论依据

英语教学的目的是培养学生能使用英语进行交流，让语言服务我们的生活。所以我们的课堂要尽量贴近学生的生活，即能让学生不感到陌生，又能学以致用。

☆教材分析

本单元要求学生能够简单描述自然公园和村庄，通过本课时学习能够用一般疑问句询问自然公园及村庄的基本情况并作回答，如：Is there a mountain? Yes, there is. Are there any rivers in your village? No, there aren’t. Read and write 部分的语言技能要求培养学生阅读与正确书写句子的能力。


☆学情分析

五年级的学生经过两年的英语学习，学生积累了一定的英语知识和技能，部分学生的表现力很强，对英语仍然保持浓厚的兴趣。少部分学生，慢慢脱离英语课堂学习的轨道，学习兴趣不高。为此我设计过程中，为“Is there ……? Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.”由易到难设计几个不同程度的活动，循序渐进的展开教学，让低中高不同程度的学生都能在这堂课上有所收获。

☆  教学目标

A．语言知识目标：能听懂会说“Is there ……? Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.” 并能在情景中运用。
B．语言技能要求培养学生阅读与正确书写句子的能力。
C．情感目标：在学习过程中生发学生关爱地球，保护地球环境的环保理念。

☆教学重点和难点

   本课时的教学重点是使学生掌握“Is there ……? Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.”培养学生在实际情景中运用对话的能力是本课的难点。

S1: Yes ,there is. S2:No,there isn’t.	帮助学生适应英语语感，自然而然地进入学习状态来直接引出本课时重点句Is there …? Yes, there is . / No, there isn’t.
Step2 新知导入  由Holiday pictures 导入Is there a … ? 教师与学生对自己旅游的照片进行交际.		T : Now show me your holiday pictures. 要求生生间互动。	This is my holiday pictures. S1: Is there a mountain/a path in the picture? S2: Yes ,there is./ No ,there isn’t.	让语言富有实际意义，让学生在一个真实的语境用英语进行交流。让学生用英语思维，真正地用英语，让学生感受英语的实际价值。
Step3 趣味操练Task1用已学过的图片（如课本p70）进行Is there …? Yes, there is . / No, there isn’t.的句型操练。达到滚动复习新旧知识的目的。		Is there a squirrel in picture 3? Is there a lake in picture 1? …	S: Yes ,there is./ No ,there isn’t.	达到滚动复习新旧知识的目的。
Task2     根据本课时的内容Is there …? Yes, there is . / No, there isn’t.请一位学生在黑板上作画，请另一位学生背对黑板猜，Is there …? 其他学生根据黑板作画情况齐回答Yes, there is . / No, there isn’t.		Can you draw a picture about a village on board?	S1: Yes ,I can. S2: Is there a mountain/a path / a house/a tree in the picture? Ss: Yes ,there is./ No , there isn’t.	我采用我画你猜的游戏，活跃课堂气氛，让学生感受英语课堂的轻松愉悦的氛围。
Task3设计小记者采访杨立伟的短篇，让学生练习写（填空方式降低难度）。完成练习并表演采访活动。			学生完成练习，根据练习表演对话。 Reporter：Nice to meet you ,Yang liwei. Yang：Nice to meet you , too. Reporter： Is there a river on moon? Yang：No, there isn’t. …	课前已将全班分为earth group and moon group, 这样既让学生学习了额外的单词，又为Task3作了铺垫，用moon 引出航天英雄杨立伟。这个教学环节从学生生活出发，把任务活动生活化，让活动具有真实感，亲切感，培养学生能运用语言进行有效的交际。
Task4 由上一环节的moon没有任何的生命来与我们美丽的地球earth作对比。		T: Is there any water on earth? Is there any green on earth? T: Is there any water on moon? Is there any green on moon?	Ss: Yes , there is. Ss: No, there isn’t.	即巩固今天所学的内容，自然引发学生珍惜地球，保护地球的环保理念。 这一环节如果课时不够就作为家庭作业，并写一段关于moon and earth 的对话。

教后感
我公开执教的是PEP Book5 Unit6 A Read and Write , 本单元主要围绕My village 展开教学，本课时重点是学习句型Is there a …? Yes, there is./No, there isn’t. 学生已在A Let’s talk 中学习了本句型，而且本句型较为简单，由于是单数句型，课文内容拓展会受到一定的限制。但是有限的内容可以用多种活动来丰富课堂，让课堂有线索，有拓展，一堂课下来让学生有所收获。无论这堂课设计的多么完美，课后总是有遗憾的。总体分析如下：
收获：
课前我把全班分为两大组 earth group, moon group 在随意中让学生额外的多学两个单词，并且为我课堂结尾的任务活动埋下伏笔。这个活动是让一个学生当一名小记者采访从月球上刚下来的英雄杨立伟,为学生创造一个相对真实的语言环境来练习本课时要求掌握的主要句型。
在教学设计中我采用我画你猜，用抢答的方式刺激学生多说Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.并小组记星作为评价，学生学习气氛达到高潮。在表演小记者采访英雄杨立伟这一段，由于学生对我国航天第一人很熟悉，也很敬佩，学生表现非常积极，优秀，教学效果出乎我的意料。
