一、教材分析
本课的教学内容是《新标准英语》(三年级起始)五年级下册Module6 Unit2 She visited the Tianchi Lake。本模块的主题是“Travel”,学生在五年级上册已学过用过去式谈论过去发生的事情,本单元是谈论假期曾经旅行过的地方,描述这个地方的方位,以及谈论在假期里曾经做过的事情。
二、学情分析
五年级学生虽然处于高年级阶段,但仍然活泼好动,求知欲和表现欲强,喜欢直观思维和抽象思维相结合,对游戏、竞赛还有兴趣。他们通过两年的学习,已有一定的英语学习经验和积累,具有一定的英语学习能力。
三、教学目标
1、知识目标
能够听、说、认读重点词汇及句型: Xinjiang is in the west of China. She visited the TianchiLake.
2、能力目标
能运用学过的知识谈论自己或他人的旅行情况。
3、情感目标
乐于沟通,与同伴谈论旅行,从而获得相互关心的情感体验;培养学生良好学习习惯。

六、教学过程
Step1. Warm-up
1. Greetings
T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m so glad to share this lesson with you.
2. Sing the song: Where did you go ?
【设计意图】演唱上册学过的Where did you go?歌曲不仅活跃课堂气氛,让学生放松心情,同时还复习了过去式,为本节课做了铺垫。
Step2. Revision and lead-in
T:I went to Xinjiang. Where is Xinjiang?
Ss: It’s in the west of China.
T: (to S1)Where did you go for your holidays?
S1: I went to …. Ask two or three students about their holidays.
T: No matter where we go, home is the best. Let’s learn a chant about home.
Step3. Learn the new text
1.Listen and chant
① Listen to the chant together.
② T: There are some new words in this chant. Let’s learn
them together.
③ Teach the new words by cards: east …
④ Say the chant and clap hands.
2.Listen and read
① T: Oh, who is she? Lingling likes travelling, too.
Where did she go? Let’s watch the video.
② Ss answer: She went to Xinjiang.
③ Have Ss watch the video again and answer the following questions:
a. Where is Xinjiang?
b. When did she go there?
c. Who did she go with?
d. What did she do there?
【设计意图】我在这部分设计了四个where , when , who , what 的问题,旨在帮助学生更好地掌握了应从哪些方面描述旅行经历,为下面说的活动奠定了基础。

【设计意图】这部分的完形填空是为了让学生明白描述旅行经历时我们应该用过去时态,注意动词的变化,再次根据思维导图复述课文,锻炼了学生读的能力。

2. Have Ss talk about someone’s travel according to the key words.
【设计意图】在练习说的部分我设计看图说和根据关键词说两个活动,培养了学生从看图片说转换到看文字说的语言思维能力,遵循了从易到难的教学原则。
