2. 初步了解各个序数词的用法及在句子中的读法、写法。
3. 能够在实际语境中运用句型“When is ....?” “It’s on......”。

Teaching steps(教学步骤):
Step 1. Greetings
Hello! Boys and girls. How do you do! Nice to meeet you! What day is it today?
Step2. Warming up& Revision
1) Let’s chant together. (播放歌谣)
教师提问:“歌曲里唱的是什么,分别是?
2)Revision:Review the old words: January, February, March, April, May,June.....
T: When is New Year’s Day? Ss: It’s in January.
(以ppt形式呈现单词,吸引学生注意力,更加投入学习中来)
Step 3. New Contents
1、再次呈现课题
板书课题: “Unit 4 When is Easter?” 学生齐读
2、导入新课
T: 请同学说一说1-12的英语数字,教师先请学生认读这些数词,而后告诉他们这些词叫做“基数词”,并解释基数词。再来学习序数词。
3、利用PPT,逐个出示新授单词
1)输入:new words:first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)
2)发音定位&会意:first(1st), second(2nd), third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th)
3)师带读—学生齐读—书空拼读。
4)师讲解各个序数词及缩写形式。
5)序数词小结:(在月份的第几日要用序数词,读时前面要加上定冠词“the”, 在某月某日前要用介词on)。
6)输出:中英文
Step 4. Consolidation & Extension
1)Let’s learn :T: Do you know when is Easter? Ss: It’s usually in April…….
T: DO you know when is April Fool’s Day? Ss: 4.1
T: Do you know how to say 4.1 in English?
师出示卡片,学生认读。(play a game: What’s missing./pass the flower.)
2)Pair work:Ask and answer(灵活运用今天所学单词和句型)
When is the sports meet/English test? S:It’s on April 4th.
(排一排:在书上按顺序给5幅图标号。请学生上来把图排序,其他同学判断对错。)
3)找朋友,读一读,连一连。

Summing up

Homework
1.完成first(1st),…, fifth(5th)在四线三格上的写法。
2. 完成同步练习册相关习题。
3. 预习下一课,查查生词,译译句子。
