Pre-task preparations
1．播放Listen and enjoy的儿歌，让学生听并跟唱，活跃课堂气氛。
2．用多媒体或挂图呈现分别代表高、矮、胖、瘦这四种体形的典型人物形象，让学生通过图片直观地感受tall，short，fat和thin这四个形容词的意思。
While-task procedures
1．分别呈现Joe和Peter的图片，但是遮住人物的 脸，让学生猜猜照片中的人是谁。通过这一活动引出一对反义词fat和thin，然后出示更多不同体形的人物图片，让学生说说谁瘦谁胖。
  T: (show the picture of Joe) Who is this?
  SI: Peter.
  T: No, he isn't Peter.
  S2: Joe.
  T: (show the full picture of Joe) Yes, this is
    Joe. Joe is fat.

2．邀请一高一矮两个学生背靠背站在前面，量 一量他们的身高并将数字写在黑板上，通过
  介绍引出一对反义词tall和short。
请两个女生或两个男生(一高一矮)上前来背靠背站着，让他们用I'm…She's/He's…句型
  说一说身高情况。
  T: Tell me who is tall and who is short.

3. 逐一呈现教材的主线人物(Peter, Kitty, Joe和  Alice)，通过问答学习本单元的新句型This is…(name)和He's/She's…。

  播放Listen and say的动画或录音，让学生听并跟读。然后请几个学生表演对话。
4．教师先呈现挂图中几个人物的图片，用句型 This is…He's/She's…描述他们的体形特征。
  然后让学生拿着各自朋友的照片两人一组互  相介绍。

Post-task activities
1．教师先示范用一首儿歌操练Look and learn任意一对反义词( tall and short或者fat/thin)，然后
  让学生模仿创编儿歌。

4 让学生制作表格，在真实的语境中运用所学语言，完成向别人介绍自己朋友的任务。
Pre-task preparations
1．让学生欣赏Listen and enjoy儿歌，教师同步用多媒体呈现一组two fat boys和另一组
  two thin girls的图片和单词。可以给学生看更 多的图片并示范说出词组，让学生举一反三操练。
  T. Show the picture of two fat boys
Ss: Two fat boys.
T: (show the picture of two thin girls) Two thin girls.
Ss: Two thin girls.

2．教师说形容词，让学生快速说出它们的反义词，以复习第一课时所学的两组形容词。

1．教师在黑板上画出课本中的人物轮廓(如Peter, Joe)，让学生通过提问猜测你画的是谁。

  诸一名学生上来代替教师开展上述活动，通 过活动学习句型。
2．播放Say and act中对人物描述部分的录音，让学生猜一猜是谁。

  S2: Is he Ben?
  T: No, he isn't.
  S3: Is he Joe?
  T: Yes, he is．
  然后让学生朗读对话，请几组学生上来表演对话。
3．用多媒体呈现知名人物或卡通人物的照片，请学生描述人物的体形特征。教师先示范一
  次，然后用多媒体呈现更多的人物，让学生依次描述。

4．猜人游戏。描述班上的某一个学生，让学生 通过不断提问的方式猜测你描述的人是谁。

  让学生四人一组，在小组中开展上述游戏。一人先选定一个对象并描述，其余三人通过提

Post-task activities
1．教师先呈现一个示例表格（如下所示），让学 生看（（练习册》Task的第一部分。请学生选择自己的两位朋友，仔细思考后在表格相应的 地方打钩。（朋友名字可用拼音或中文表示）
然后让学生根据Task第二部分的范例，四人 一组做问答。通过问答了解组员的好朋友的
性别和体形特征。
  S1: Is your friend a girl?

2．学生轮流上台，利用调查的信息，向全班同学介绍某同学的两位好朋友。鼓励基础较好的学生适当拓展—下语言。
