【摘  要】  依据整体语言教学理论和实践，运用任务型教学途径组织阅读教学活动，采取自主学习立方体模式给学生设定层层递进的任务，促使学生调动各种语言与非语言资源完成任务，开展自主性学习小组活动，使小组合作探究与自主独立思考相结合，最大程度地优化学生的学习方式，提高课堂学习效果。新课程要求教师是学生学习的促进者、学习能力的培养者、学生人生道路的引路人。因此，在本教学设计中，应用信息技术多媒体手段，总体教学设计采用任务型教学，贯穿在导入—呈现—阅读—讨论各个环节中，着重培养学生的自主、合作、探究的学习方式。
【课 题】Unit  19  The Merchant of Venice
【阅读课教学设计】
一.The analyses of teaching materials(教材分析)
（一）、本单元的中心话题是“莎士比亚与他的戏剧”；内容涉及 “ 莎士比亚”、“威尼斯商人”、“亨利四世”、“哈姆雷特”、 “罗密欧与朱丽叶”等。语言知识和语言技能都是根据“莎士比亚与他的戏剧”这一中心话题设计的。我上的这节课 是本单元的第二节阅读训练课，Reading部分是根据莎士比亚的戏剧《威尼斯商人》中的一个片段改编的。由于Antonio借了Shylock的钱而不能如期归还，Shylock把Antonio告上了法庭，要求履行他们之间的合约。根据合约， Shylock可以在Antonio心脏附近取一磅肉，当然，这可能是致命的一磅肉。尽管法官希望Shylock大发慈悲，Antonio的朋友Bassanio愿意替Antonio成倍偿还，但是，Shylock仍然坚持要求得到一磅肉。Shylock打着维护法律的公正性和严肃性的幌子，内心深处其实是想对他的敌人Antonio实施报复，要置Antonio于死地。最后由于Portia的到来，该剧有了一个喜剧的结尾。该剧围绕“同情与报复”这条主要线索展开，无论是Duke还是Portia都希望Shylock富于同情心，两位法官就mercy进行的陈述非常精辟，该故事情节生动、曲折，语言地道并带有莎翁时代的特色，内容富有深刻的教育意义。戏剧中的人物往往分别代表着“正义”和“非正义”两方。得道者多助，失道者寡助。  
（二）、教材处理
在教学活动安排上，运用任务型教学模式，模拟真实情景，让学生在完成任务的过程中，主动参与亲身实践，独立思考和合作探究。
二、学习者分析：
新课程标准强调，教师是学生学习的合作者、引导者和参与者。教学过程是师生交往共同发展的互动过程。教师要在课堂教学中，给学生制定适当的学习目标，指导学生形成良好学习习惯，掌握学习策略；创设丰富的教学环境，激发学生的学习动机，培养学生的学习兴趣。我们在教学中应充分体现新课标的核心理念：“为了每位学生的发展。”听、说、唱、演等教学组织形式，是孩子们最感兴趣的。在教学设计中，本课时采用直观教具，课堂表演，情景教学，活动课堂以及多媒体教学等灵活多变的教学方法，让每一位学生在课堂上都充分展示自己，积极地参与到教学活动中去，让学生在灵活多样的教学中，模仿英语，运用英语，体验英语。这样，就可以实现本课的教学目标，又能收到理想的效果。

八、评价
    利用多媒体和直观教具，声像并茂，学生在学习过程中能够积极地参与到教学中，激发学生学习热情，培养学习积极性．课堂上开展活动课，教师在学生自由对话前，给予学习和练习任务，通过自主学习探究，与学生合作交流，让学生在灵活多样的教学中，模仿英语，运用英语，体验英语。在实际教学中，课堂气氛非常活跃，积极性很高，教学效果良好。

【课堂教学设计理念基础】
（一）、新课程要求教师是学生学习的促进者、学习能力的培养者、学生人生道路的引路人。因此，在本教学设计中，总体教学设计采用任务型教学，贯穿在导入—呈现—阅读—讨论各个环节中，着重培养学生的自主、合作、探究的学习方式。另外，教学设计中设计一个Free talk内容，通过group work. pair work以team work自主合作学习方式，目的在于让学生在教学参与过程中，让教师与学生分享彼此的思考、经验和知识，交流彼此的情感、体验和观念，达到共识、共享、共进，实现教学相长和共同发展。从而让学生正确处理“宽恕与报复”和“爱情与金钱”的关系，确立正确的人生价值观 。
（二）、新课程要求教师是课程的建设者和开发者，创造性使用教材，利用现代化教学手段与学科课程进行整合，采用了多媒体教学，增大教学容量，优化课堂教学资源，达到课堂教学结构优化组合。
（三）、教学过程中要注重学科中渗透与融合。由于本单元的教学内容和高中语文教材的内容相吻合。因而在教学导入部分结合学生已有的知识快速地展示莎士比亚喜剧与悲剧等作品。这样就可以激发学生学习兴趣，让学生尽快地融入到课堂教学中来。

五、Teaching methods (教学方法)：
　　在自主阅读、互动合作、完成任务的过程中，培养学生进行有效的自我调控，并通过各种途径获取信息，辨别和运用有用资源。
（一）.Asking and answering before reading to make the students interested in what they will read.
（二）.Fast and careful reading to train the students’ reading ability.
（三）.Discussion after reading to make the students further understand what they have read.
通过任务型教学活动设计和活动型教学，训练和培养学生自主、合作、探究、创新的学习能力。  

通过本课的学习，体现新课程标准的以下方面：
（一）、致力于转变学生的学习方式。强调发现学习、探究学习、研究性学习。本课教学多次开展活动课堂，重点在于强调学生参与、实践和探究。构建旨在培养学生创新精神和实践能力的学习方式及其对应的教学方式。

（二）、致力于教师角色的转变。新课程标准要求教师是学生学习的合作者、引导者和参与者；教学过程是师生交往、共同发展的互动过程。教学过程中要指导学生形成良好的学习习惯，掌握学习策略，建立一个接纳的、支持性的、宽容的课堂氛围，与学生一起分享学习所带来乐趣。

（三）、重点在于提高教师在新课程标准下新的技能。强调对课程和教材要不断进行反思与“概念重建”。要求我们教师要以学生为中心，开发学习资源，学会“用教材”而不是“教教材”。教师应具备课程开发的能力，增强对课程的整合能力，以及提高信息技术与学科教学的组织能力。

（四）、重点突出任务型教学。教学设计中精心设计具体目标的学习任务，每个任务应是互动型的、合作型的。具有真实性、挑战性的任务和活动，能够吸引学生主动参与与互动交流，可以引起学生者兴趣，从而实现教育教学目的。
