T: Hello, I’m Lydia. You can call me Lydia. I like spring. What’s your favorite season? Why?  It’s spring now. What do you like to do in spring? (引导学生回答I like to__________.)
T:I like to travel .  (板书：travel) Do you like to travel ? Today ,  we’ll learn more about traveling. First, let’s share one video. (放video)
解说(This is Mongolia. We can see lots of grass. The clouds are white. The sky is blue. There are many horses here. People here sometimes travel by horse. Wow, the flowers are so beautiful. We can also see the cows.)让学生尽情享受大自然的美景。

T：I like traveling. I sometimes travel by bus. I sometimes travel by car. Let’s see. How do people sometimes travel? (板书：People sometimes travel by ___________.) (引导学生根据屏幕回答People sometimes travel by ___________.)
Step 3: Presentation
1. 学习单词。
a. What’s this? How many double-decker buses are there? Where can you see the double-decker bus?（学习double-decker bus）
b.This is London. Can you see the double-decker bus? People here sometimes travel by double-decker bus. What’s this? It’s a big ferries wheel. This is the famous Big Ben. Look , it’s the London Bridge. We can see the river. So, People here sometimes travel by ferry. （学习ferry）
c.Is it London ?
This is the Statue of Liberty. In New York, there are many tall buildings. It’s a modern city. How do people travel? People here travel by subway. I have some pictures. Let’s have a look. This subway is so old. And this one is new. The New York City Subway has a long history. （学习subway）
Do you sometimes travel by subway? I travel by subway in Nanjing. (In Shanghai. )(In Beijing. )Do you like to travel by subway? Why? It’s very popular, convenient.
d.But I like to travel by camel better. Let’s go to the Gobi Desert and have a look.（听录音） How many camels are there? （学习the Gobi Desert、camel）
e. Are these camels? They are horses. Do you like horses? （听录音） People here travel by horse. （学习horse）
f.Do you know Venice? Venice is a famous water city. Do people here travel by horse? Do people here travel by camel? How do people travel? Let’s share another video. People here travel by_________.（学习Venice、gondola）
在整个单词的学习过程中，教师努力营造一种润物细无声的状态，让学生在轻松、愉悦的氛围中学习，收获。
2.A:listen and say
1）        Have students open their books to page 84.
2）        Play the tape. Have students listen and say the words.
3.Bisten and repeat.
1）        Play the tape. Students point to each sentences and repeat.
2）Have students take turns trying to read some sentences on the page.
Step 4: Consolidation
To you like traveling? Where are you going? How do you travel? Listen to me. I wrote an E-mail to you.
