本节课是一节对话课,主要是让学生能够用句型 What are you doing?提出建议，并会使用.I am …..进行回答。同时学会进行提问。此外还将学习几个动词短语
学情分析
五年级学生处于高年级阶段,年龄特点决定了教学内容的设计以贴近生活、学生感兴趣的事物或话题为主。本节课的话题是现在进行时态，相信学生会对这一内容感兴趣。这个年龄段的学生对一切充满幻想和好奇,学习积极性很浓,只要教学方法得当，将很容易把学生的学习兴趣调动起来，从而让教学顺利进行，并取得良好的效果。                     
教学目标
1 、能够听、说、认读句子：Look at the tiger! It’s running! The rabbit is jumping.
2、能够听、说、读、写动词短语的ing形式：flying、jumping、walking、running、swimming     
教学重点和难点
1、本课的教学重点是掌握五个动词的ing形式，并用现在进行时进行简单表达。
2、本课时的教学难点是running和swimming的拼写。
  
教学过程：Step1 复习巩固
1、Sing the song“What are you doing?”

Step2 新课呈现Let’s learn
（1）Use some photos to teach the words : flying , running , walking , jumping , swimming.
（2）spell the words.
Let’s do
Act like flying.
Act like running.
Act like walking.
Act like jumping.
Act like swimming.
Let’s talk
（1）Use some pictures of the animals to ask like this :
T：Which animal?
Ss：The bird.
T：Look at the bird.
What’s it doing?
Help Ss：It’s flying.
The bird is flying.
（2）Use the some way to ask about the other animals.
1、Greetings.
2、Sing the song“What are you doing?”

Step2 新课呈现（Presentation）
Let’s learn

教学反思
小学英语教学的主要途径是课堂教学，而课堂教学又是在教学活动中得以体现的。因此，设计有效设计有效的课堂教学活动是顺利达到教学目标的可靠保障。今天我所教授的内容是PEP小学英语Unit5的第1课时，整个活动设计的围绕“flying、running、walking、jumping、Swimming”和“What’s it doing, It’s flying , The bird is flying.”这几个重点句型展开。而且，在教学过程中，我摒弃了传统英语教学所采取的“你教我学”的教学方法，千方百计为学生营造出一个宽松愉悦，民主和谐的英语氛围。
     在课前热身阶段，我有意识地安排了《What’re you doing》这首欢快歌曲的演唱，以此减轻学生们对上公开课的紧张感。同时这首歌的歌词也起到了承上启下的作用，为新句型做了一定的铺垫。
在呈现部分，我根据学生现有的知识水平，先通过创设“介绍新朋友”这一情景活动逐一呈现重点句型。之后，再组织学生通过有趣的游戏和小组或结对问答进行操练，学生兴趣高涨，促进了句型的内化，吸收并能将之融入对话练习。让学生在创设的真实情境中积极参与，大胆实践，既巩固当前所学的知识，又为下一步将要开展的句型What’s doing? It’s flying. The bird is flying.教学做准备，受到了良好的效果。
     当重点句型在这种科学合理的安排下完成之后，我又带领学生回到书本，学习part A，让学生在听，说，读，写的过程中，自觉的组织，运用本节课所学的句型，让新知在运用中巩固。这样，既加深了对词汇，句型的深刻理解和运用，又提高了记忆效果。
     最后的Homework我布置学生回去根据今天所学的句型设计一段对话，以此提供给学生更多的操练机会和充分展示的空间，引导他们将学习内容和自己的实际生活相结合，从而达到学以致用的目的，也让他们体验了学习成功的快乐。

     在今后的英语教学中，我将继续努力学习，探询更为有效的英语教学方法，研究英语课程标准，设计针对性强的、内容丰富的课堂教学，努力做
