When the flood washed away the village,

the people throughout the world stand hand in hand to give the villagers hope.

Don't cry.

Don't be disappointed or sad,

because we stand hand in hand to send you the sincerest and warmest help and greetings.

Love and help everyone of every skin color,

from every race and continent.

We stand hand in hand. Don't cry. Don't be disappointed or sad,

because of us!

we stand hand in hand to make a better world on our homeland

We stand hand in hand and our hearts link together although we are separated by hills and mountains

手拉手代表着什么？代表着我们大家团结一心，互相关爱，共度难关。

当那楼房轰然倒下时，我们坚强地站了起来，全世界人民手拉着手，面对可怕的地震；

当海啸像恶魔一样张开它巨大的翅膀凶恶地向我们扑来时，全世界人民手拉着手，打败了凶神恶煞的魔鬼；

当泥石流淹没了村庄，淹没了一切时，全世界人民手拉着手，给了灾区人民一丝希望。

……不要哭泣，不要失望，不要悲伤，因为我们手拉手，将最真诚，最温暖的帮助问候送达。互相关心爱护，互相帮助，不分肤色，不分种族，世界五大洲，我们手拉手，不要哭泣，不要失望，不要悲伤，因为有我们！
