教材分析:
本课是第七单元第13课,主要涉及的语言是有关职业的名称以及询问和叙述某人的职业等。
设计理念:
采用“指导――自主学习”的策略,运用直观教学法、启发性教学法进行教学;通过游戏、竞赛等多项活动的有机结合,活跃学生的思维,激发学生学习英语的兴趣;借助有效的教学评价促进学生以积极的学习态度,完成本课的学习任务。
教学目标:
1.知识目标:
⑴掌握词汇: teacher, worker, singer, dancer, farmer, policeman,
doctor, pilot, nurse, because
⑵掌握句型: What do you want to be? I want to be a ....
2.技能目标:
能运用所学句型询问他人的理想或说说自己的理想。
3.情感目标:
鼓励学生从小树立正确的理想和目标,从而激励他们更加热爱学习,热爱生活。
教学重点:
1.掌握表示职业的9个单词
2.掌握句型What do you want to be? I want to be a … 及其运用
3.让学生能用所学单词和句型相互询问各自的理想。
教学难点:
1.单词pilot, nurse, policeman, doctor的发音
2.句型Why? Because…的学习及掌握
教学用具:
多媒体课件、单词卡若干
教学过程:
Step1: Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. Free talk.
T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m Ms Zhao. I’m new here. What’s your name? What’s your hobby?
S: My name is …. I like ….
T: I like listening to music. I like Zhou Jielun’s songs.
Step 2: Lead in and Presentation
1.课件出示介绍学生熟悉的人物:周杰伦、杨丽萍。
T:Look. Who is he/she? He's Zhou Jielun. He's a singer. She's Yang Liping. She's a dancer. Singer and dancer are their jobs(职业).Today we're going to learn a new lesson. Unit 7 Jobs Lesson 13
2.揭示课题并板书,同时教授单词jobs。
Step 3: New Lesson
1. 教授单词teacher, singer, dancer, farmer, worker
①T: I’m a teacher. 出示卡片,复习单词。强调er的发音,边拼边书空,师板书。
②T: Look. How to read this word? (先呈现单词sing,让学生读出.后呈现singer,让生试读出。)学生仔细听老师读三遍,后跟读三遍。大小声形式操练单词。
T: Spell the word ,please. 全班学生边拼边书空,师板书。
③ 出示单词,同上法学习dancer, 用男生跟男生读,女生跟女生读的形式操练单词,全班学生边拼边书空,师板书。
④ 出示单词,同上法学习farmer, 用指名小组读的形式操练单词,全班学生边拼边书空,师板书。
⑤ 出示单词,同上法学习worker, two by two操练单词,全班学生边拼边书空,师板书。
⑥请学生看黑板上单词,引出在这几个词尾加er,就变为表示职业的单词。整体操练。
2.教授句型What do you want to be? I want to be a …
①T:Now look. These are jobs. We have learned so many words about jobs. Now, please tell me: What do you want to be? 引导学生选出自己理想中的职业,用I want to be a … .回答。
② 课件操练句型,全班齐读I want to be a …. 学生读,老师写。然后提问几个学生。
T:What do you want to be? … Now listen carefully! How do I ask? 老师怎么问的?Who can ask ?引出句型What do you want to be? 进行教学。学生读句子,老师板书。
③ 游戏:Clap and say. 教师拍手学生齐说What do you want to be? What do you want to be? 拍到哪位同学的桌子,这位同学回答I want to be a … 教师随时进行评价。
3.教授单词nurse, policeman, doctor, pilot
① 用Do you want to be a …? 引出单词policeman, nurse, doctor, pilot进行教学。运用two by two读、十字开花读、师生大小声读、分男女生读等形式进行操练。
② 巩固单词:用看口型读英语、炸弹游戏巩固八个单词。T:This word. 师快速指一下。重点操练pilot,doctor。
4. 操练
① 课件“记忆游戏”。师问生猜T: What’s the job? 老师点击看图。T:Now let’s play a game. Look at the screen. Remember: Where is it?
② 用所学单词操练句型:What do you want to be? I want to be a…
同桌同学进行问答操练(一分钟操练:倒计时器)并展示。T: Choose the job as you like.
③ 游戏:集体问,指名答。Now let’s do a survey. 我们集体调查一下。
5. (师生问答后引出)T: He wants to be a …. Now let’s open the book at page 61. Look at the picture. What does Peter want to be? 引入课文教学及教授单词why, because, helping people
①学生看书,找生词,先让学生自己教自己,然后老师讲解。
② 提出问题,What does Peter want to be? Why? What does LiHong want to be? Why?
学生听音、找答案。
③ 回答问题,听音跟读。
④ 学生自读后男女生分角色操练。
Step 4: Consolidation
说一说,写一写:My Dream 课件呈现短文:I want to be a policeman. Because I like helping people.学生模仿短文说一说,写一写。
T:What do you want to be? Why? Please write down. If you want to have a good job, you must study hard from now on.
Step 5: Sum up and Evaluation
1. 小结本课所学。
T: Today we’ve learned so many words of jobs. No matter what you want to be, we should serve the people and help the people.无论我们将来从事何种职业,我们都要服务人们、帮助人们。让我们为实现自己的理想努力学习吧!
2. 反馈本节课的评价。
Step 6: Homework
1.听录音跟读课文,注意模仿语音语调
2.抄写活动手册上的单词和句型
3.继续完成调查表,用所学句型询问5位同学的理想。
