2.Teach the new sentences:
Who′s that… ? She′s beautiful. He′s handsome.
3.Listen to the tape .
4.Read after the teacher.
5.Practice reading in group.
Step 3 Practice:
1.Look at the slide picture , listen and practice speaking in two steps—pair work
2.Act out this dialogue in situations.
Step 4 Applications
1.Ask the pupils to make up dialogues in pairs by using the sentence patterns.














Step 5 Homework
1.Listen to the tape at home.
2.Make up the new dialogue.

四、 Teaching design
       1.  Warming up
           Sing a song about She looks cute.
       2.  Pre-task preparations
           A.  Read and spell the key words one by one.
           B.  Read the passage on the book.
           C.  While-task procedures
               a. Listen to the tape.
               b. Read after teacher, and learn the new words and phrases.
               E.g.: policeman, policewoman, handsome, uncle, aunt, beautiful …
D. Post-task activities
               1. Make sentences with new phrases and words.
               2. Have the students do part F - Look and write the workbook. Then check the answers with them.
               3. Have the students do part G-Look, read and complete the                                 dialogues' of the work book .then check the answers with them.

Lesson 11教学设计
一、教学目标及要求:
知识目标:
1. 能够熟读课文;
2.会说句型:Who’s that policeman/ policewoman ? He’s/She’s my uncle/aunt. He’s handsome. She’s beautiful
能力目标:学会运用目标语言进行交际。
情感目标:学会与人友善的相处,学会赞赏他人,。
二、教学重点:
能够理解并熟读本课课文内容
教学难点:句型:Who’s that policeman/ policewoman ? He’s/She’s my uncle/aunt. He’s handsome. She’s beautiful
三、教学法:1、情景教学法 2.多媒体教学法3.互动合作学习法
四、教具准备:单词卡片、录音机、CD及课件。
五、教学课时:一课时
六、教学步骤:
1. 热身/复习 (Warming-upRevision)
教师出示Lesson10中的人物,用Who‘s that boy/girl?进行提问,和学生共同谈论他/她的信息。
T: Who’s that boy?
S: He’s Ken.
T: How old is he?
S: He’s nine.
T: He’s quiet, right ?
S: No ,he’s active.
2.新课呈现Presentation
a) 教师以复习环节中谈论Ken的情况继续介绍Ken is active. He likes sports very much. He often plays football with his father.随即出示Ken爸爸的图片,引导学生初步感知本课的重点句型。
T: Who’s that man
S: He’s Ken‘s father.
T: He’s handsome.
教授handsome一词,请学生介绍班上同学:______is handsome.
2)学习 Just Talk 部分
1)教师出示本课主题图的局部画面(只露出Li Yan叔叔)请学生用刚学的语句来形容:He’s handsome.
2)请学生带着一下问题看视频
AWho‘s that policeman
B. Who‘s that policewoman
C. What does Kate think of them
3)在学生回答问题时,引导学生感知本课重点句型Who‘s that policemanWho‘s that policewoman
在感知She’s beautiful.这个句型时,出示几张女明星、女歌星的照片,请学生用She’s beautiful.进行形容。
(4)巩固练习(阅读并判断对错)
   Hello, boys and girls .Look at that policeman. He’s handsome. He’s my uncle. He comes from Beijing. Now, he lives in Yining , Xinjiang. Look at the policewoman beside my uncle, she’s my aunt . She is a policewoman. She has big eyes and short black hair. I think she’s very beautiful.
1. The policeman is my uncle.
2. My uncle comes from Britain.
3. My uncle lives in Beijing.
4. The policewoman has big eyes and long black hair.
5. I think my aunt is very beautiful.
3.趣味操练
b) 多种方式操练对话
c) 分角色体验表演对话
d) 说唱歌谣,并创编新歌谣。
教师呈现自编歌谣,学生试说。
学生分成男女生问答说歌谣。
