1、本节课的内容是:新课标英语第一册Module7 Unit2 What’s that?
2、本课需用一个课时完成。
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是三年级的学生。三年级的学生活泼,好动,好奇心强,爱模仿,敢表现,大多数学生对英语有着较浓厚的兴趣, 但是学生学习的持久性仍然欠缺。学生对英语学习有着积极的情感,才能保持英语学习的动力,才能取得成绩。因此,我针对学生的认知特点和水平,设计教学方法;在教学过程中力争至始至终关注学生的情感,努力营造宽松和谐的学习氛围。
三、教学目标
1、知识目标:⑴能听懂,会说,能认读新单词:pen, pencil...
⑵能口头运用What’s this/ that?询问物体的名称,并能用It’s a ... 进行回答。
2、能力目标:使学生能在生活中运用所学的语言知识进行交际。
3、情感目标:通过活动,游戏,比赛等,使学生产生学习英语的兴趣;让学生敢于、乐于开口,积极参与交流。并在学习过程中培养学生的合作意识和竞争意识,增强他们的自信心。

2、能运用和区别What’s this?和 What’s that?句型,并能用It’s a...做回答。

老师利用简笔画在黑板上画画,让学生猜猜老师画的是什么。复习前面学过的物体名词:chair, desk 等。引出新单词: pen, pencil 等。

(学生回答后,老师在图片旁边写上相对应的单词。)
Step 3 Presentation
1. Read the words after the teacher. Learn the new words.
2. Activity1: Listen and chant.
Pen and pencil. Pen and pencil.
Pencil and pen. Say it again!
(让学生把其他物体名词替换chant中的pen和pencil继续进行chant.)
3. T: Tom and Amy are talking now. Do you know what they are talking about?
(They are talking about some objects.) Now listen to Activity 2, say out the objects that you hear in the dialogue.
4. Read Activity 2 after the tape.

T: (指着旁边的物体) What’s this?
