一、单元教学目标
1．能力目标
（1）能够简单介绍自己能做的家务劳动，如：I can clean the bedroom．I can cook the meals．
（2）能够询问别人能做什么事情，如：What can you do? Can you set the table?
（3）欣赏、学唱歌曲“I Can Help”。
2．知识目标
（1）掌握A、B部分Let's learn 、Read and write 中的四会单词和句子。
（2）听说、认读A、B部分Let's learn 、Let's talk中的单词和句子。
（3）理解Pronunciation中字母组合or, all, pl, pr 的发音规律。
（4）理解Let's chant部分的内容。
（5）了解Story time 、Good to know等部分的内容。
3．情感、策略、文化等有关目标
（1）情感态度：使学生树立自信心、激发学习兴趣，并养成讲究卫生、热爱劳动、乐于助人的好品质。
（2）学习策略：注重小组合作学习与相互沟通和交流。
（3）文化目标：了解一些有关安全、环保、洗涤的生活常识。
二、单元内容分析
1．本单元的教学重点是有关家务劳动的表述方法，主要句型是：What can you do? I can sweep the floor．Can you set the table? Yes, I can．No, I can't．难点是A、B部分的Let's talk和几个动词词组的四会掌握。在第三、四册教材中已出现了本单元大部分的动词词组，如：water the flowers, sweep the floor, set the table, make the bed等等，同时学生也已掌握了打扫教室、学习、运动等许多动作表达方式，教师在教学中应注意以旧引新，降低学习难度，还要不断循环复现，帮助学生积累巩固。
2．教学本单元应与学生日常生活实践紧密相连，教师可引导学生在每日做适量家务劳动的同时用英语进行表达，并作调查与统计。另外，本单元要求四会掌握的动词词组和句型都较难，建议分散教学、各个击破，同时每节课进行及时的巩固操练，使学生学得更扎实。
三、单元教与学建议
1、能够听、说、认读动词词组empty the trash，put away the clothes。和句子“I'm helpful! I can sweep the floor． Mother Goat is ill．We can help．Just do it。Can you do housework? Yes, I can．I can play chess．”
2、能听懂、会说Are you helpful at home, Chen Jie? What can you do? I can sweep the floor．You're helpful! Can you set the table? Yes, I can．No, I can't, but I'd like to have a try! 并能在情景中运用。
3、能够听、说、读、写动词词组cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom，wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed和do the dishes．句子What can you do? I can sweep the floor．Can you make the bed? No, I can't．Can you use a computer? Yes, I can．
4．能够总结字母组合or, all, pl, pr 的发音规律，并能朗读Pronunciation部分的例词。
5．了解一些有关安全、环保与洗涤等生活常识。
教学重、难点分析
1．第一课时教学重难点：重点是有关家务劳动的五个动词词组cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom，empty the trash。难点是四个动词词组的书写cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom。以及运用句型“I can ....”进行表述。
2．第二课时教学重难点：重点是句型“What can you do? I can ....”难点是句子“Are you helpful at home?”以及在实际情景中正确运用所学会话。
3.第三课时的重、难点是四会掌握句子：重点是四会掌握句型：What can you do? I can .... 本课时的教学难点是能正确拼写四会句型。
4.第四课时的重、难点是重点重点是有关家务劳动的另外五个动词词组wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed和do the dishes．put away the clothes。本课时教学难点是四会掌握四个动词词组wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed和do the dishes。教师要特别注意指导clothes的发音和拼写。
5.第五课时的重难点是：重点是句型：Can you .... ? Yes, I can．No, I can't．难点是句子：I'd like to have a try．以及在实际情景中正确运用所学会话。
6．第六课时的重点是：重点是四会掌握句型：Can you ... ? Yes, I can．No, I can't．难点是正确拼写四会句型Can you make the bed? No, I can't．Can you use a computer? Yes, I can．
