《It’swarmtoday.》教学设计

教学目标:

1.  让学生听、说、认读:warm/cool/hot/cold/weather

2.  掌握句型:It’s…in….并能实际操练并运用。

3.  了解句型:Good morning. This is the weather report.

4.  能够简单介绍天气情况,做个小小气象员。

5.  能说出不同天气情况下该穿什么衣服。

教具准备:CAI课件、单词卡片、动物头饰、教学图片

教学过程:

I.Warm-up

把全班分成六组:Rabbit组、Monkey组、Elephant组、Pig组、Zoom组和Zip组,整堂课以竞赛贯穿始终。

1)Let’s chant.

  My shirt is red.Red,red,red.

  My jacket is blue.Blue,blue,blue.

  My dress is old.Old,old,old.

  My sweater is new.New,new,new.

  My socks are white.White,white,white.

  My shoes are too.Too,too,too.

  My pants are old.Old,old,old.

  My shorts are new.New,new,new.

2)Words game“What’s missing?”

(出示四个单词,去掉其中一个,让学生说出单词)

II.Presentation


1)Show the Match girl,to learn “cold”.

T: Boys and girls,this is my friend.Look!(教师呈现寒冷雪天里饥寒交迫的卖火柴小女孩) She is a Match girl. A poor girl. Let’s say hello to Match girl.

(Ss:Hello,Match girl!)

T: Is she happy? (Ss:No.) Why?

Ss: It’s cold.

T: Oh, my poor girl. She is …(Ss:cold).

  (TPR)Old↗,old↘.Old↘,old↘,cold↘.

       Cold↗,cold↘.It’s↘,it’s↘ cold↘.

2)Show the panda to learn “hot”.

Took!This panda is not cold.It’s…(Ss:hot)   

Ss: (TPR) Hot↗,hot↘.It’s↘,it’s↘ hot↘.

T:Which place is hot?Where is hot?Do you know?It’s hot in …(Ss:Hainan)

T:Yes,it’s hot in Hainan.

3) “Weather report”.

  T:What’s the weather like today?Let’s look at the weather report.

  ea,ea,[e],[e],head,head,bread,bread.

  ea,ea,[e],[e], [we],[we],weather,weather.(father,mother,brother)

          This is the weather report.

4)Guessing to learn “warm” and “cool”.

T:What’s the weather like today?Is it cold/hot?(It’s warm today.)

5)Read and say.

  Cold,cold.It’s,it’s cold.

  …

6)Look and say.

  (T:Boys and girls,let’s look at the weather report.Tell me what’s the weather like in Lhasa/Harbin/Beijing/Hong Kong?)

  Look and answer the questions.(It’s…in….)

7)Little weather reporter.

(Use the sentences:Good morning.This is the weather report.It’s…in….)

8) Let’s Chant

Weather,weather,weather report.

This is the weather report.

Cold, cold. It’s cold in Harbin.

Warm, warm. It’s warm in Beijing.

Hot, hot. It’s hot in Hong Kong.

Cool, cool. It’s cool in Lhasa.

9)Guessing the weather.

T:What’s the weather like in Wulumuqi/Kunming/Guilin/Dalian?

III.Consolidation.


1)Find the new words.

2)Make new sentences.

3)Match and say.

(For example:Warm,warm.Put on your shirt.)

4)Homework.

Say the weather report to parents.

Read the words after class.
