一节大胆而创新的英语道德课堂

又到了学习《poems》这一单元。按照以往的教学方法,我们就是要把这篇文章给学生讲解一下,让学生了解英语诗歌的几种类型,而对文章中所选取的几首经典的诗却会视而不见。面对这单元,我进行了深刻的思考。我想明白这单元设计的真正用意以及它想让学生学会什么。思考了很久,我觉得自己的理解更深了一步。英语同样作为一门语言,也有各式的文体。而这单元所要达到的目的并不是简单地让学生了解这篇Reading的意思,而是想传递给学生一种鉴赏英文诗歌的能力。于是,我对这单元的学习进行了全新的设计,把文章的主体部分作为次重点,而把以前不学的诗歌作为主体部分,而且我选取了其中一首唐诗来讲解。优美的诗歌配上优美的音乐,整个课堂充满了朗朗的读诗声以及对诗歌所表达含义的讨论声。在课堂中,我让学生跟着音乐读诗,通过读,让他们理解作者的感情,从而理解诗的含义和诗歌背后的故事。通过对这首诗的鉴赏,我让学生试着对文中其他类型的诗进行鉴赏,从而让学生掌握一种鉴赏英文诗的能力。这节课结束了,学生觉得很快乐,我也深感欣慰,因为我们是真正的在运用英语,我们把英语作为一种语言来对待了。我们要感受它的优美与魅力,这才是我们学习的目的。我想这节课我交给学生的要远胜于让他们记住几个单词或者某个语法。我深切地感受到:真正的英语课堂应该是这样的吧。一下就是我这节课的教案设计。

Step 2.Leading-in
• Enjoy a nursery rhyme(童谣).
Step 3. A Tang poem
Where she awaits her husband
On and on the river flows.
Never looking back,
Transformed into stone.
Day by day upon the mountain top,
wind and rain revolve(环绕).
Should the traveller return,
this stone would utter(完全的)speech.
