T: Hello! What’s your name?
S1: Hello! My name is Li Jun.  
T: How old are you?  
S1: I’m twelve.  
T: How many pupils are there in your class?  
S1: There are sixty-five.  
T: Thank you. Sit down, please.
  T: Hello! Boy!  
S2: Hello! Miss Zhou!  
T: Glad to meet you!  
S2: Glad to meet you, too!  
T: How many boys are there in your class?  
S2: There are thirty-four. 
T: OK. Thank you. Sit down, please.
   I know there are thirty-one girls in our class. Yes?  
Ss: Yes.  
二、热身导入:  
T: Class begins! Good afternoon! Boys and girls!  
Ss: Good afternoon! Miss Zhou!  
T: At first, let’s do action. OK?  
Ss: OK.  
T: Stand up!  
Sit down!  
Clap your hands.  
Stamp your foot.  
Touch your mouth…  
三、新授知识:  
T: Please look there, (point to the screen of a computer)
  Today we will learn a new lesson. Lesson 11 “ What do you do? ”  
Ss: Lesson 11 “ What do you do?
 T: Please look at the picture. What can you see?  
S1: I can see two cows.  
T: Good! And what’s this?  
S2: It’s a farm.  
T: Excellent! Give you a sticker.  
S2: Thank you.  
T: Not at all. Please read after me. “ farm, farm 农场”  
Ss: “ farm, farm 农场”  
T: Look! What does he do?  
S3: He is a farmer.  
T: Yes. You are very clever. “ farmer, farmer 农民”  
Ss: “ farmer, farmer 农民”  
T: farm 和 farmer 在拼写上有什么区别?  
S4: 在farm后,加er ,就变成farmer了。  
T: Very good.  
(The same as “ work/ worker/ teacher/policeman/doctor/nurse”.)  
操练单词:  
1、拍节奏读单词;  
2、做英汉互译练习题。  
T: Look at the picture. She is a teacher. 当我们想询问对方的职业是什么的时候?我们可以用英语说:“ What do you do ?”  
Ss: “ What do you do?”

S1: “你是干什么的?”  
T: Good! Look, there are many pictures about job. Can you read?  
S1: doctor, nurse  
S2: worker, driver, cook  
S3: policeman, singer  
S4: teacher, pupil

Ss: doctor, nurse, worker, driver, cook, policeman, singer, teacher, pupil  
T: Well done! Now let’s have a competition, OK?  
Ss: OK.  
T: Give you two minutes, ask and answer.  
(after 2 minutes)
T: Say loudly and exactly! OK?
Ss: OK.
T: The first group “ Are you ready?”  
Ss1: Yes.  
T: Start!  
S1: What do you do?  
S2: I’m a worker.  
S3: What do you do?

( The other three groups like this.)  
T: Look at the results ( 每一小组所用的时间)  
The third group is the winner. Congratulations!  
Ss3: Great!  
T: OK. Look at the screen. Who can read the sentences?  
S1: I can. “Where do you work? I work on a farm.”  
T: Excellent! Give you a sticker.  
S1: Thank you.  
T: You’re welcome. Read together, please.  
Ss: “Where do you work? I work on a farm.”  
T: Translate, please?  
S2: “你在哪里工作? 我在农场工作。”  
T: Practice them in pairs.  
(after 2 minutes)

Hello! “ What do you do?”  
S3: “I’m a farmer.”

操练句子:  
1、个别同学领读; 
2、同桌对话。  
四、听音跟读:  
T: Now, open your book turn to page 53 “ Let’s talk”  
五、三大组分角色朗读:  
六:个别同学带头饰分角色朗读扮演:  
七、结束:  
T: Use “ What do you do?” to ask other people, OK?  
Ss: OK.  
T: The time is up. Good-bye everyone.
