My ideal school

八（1）班 徐玲

My ideal school starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 4 p.m.. We don’t get up early. We spend a lot of time on our hobbies.（刚学的spend time on sth.用上了） We don’t have homework every day. We never have tests.（用学过的句型说出自己想说的）

We have half an hour for lunch. We can choose some nice food to eat.（刚学的动词不定时修饰名词作定语） We also chat with each or listen to music for lunchtime. We only wear uniforms on Monday. Girls’ uniforms are T-shirts and skirts. Boys’ uniforms are T-shirts and jeans（语言组织特别好）.

Our classroom is very big. There are about 80 students in each class. We only study three subjects. English, Chinese and History. Among of the three subjects, I like English best, Because learning foreign is fun.（刚学的形容词最高级用上了，原因状语从句也用上了。）

There is a small library, a small and beautiful garden, a large playground. We always feel tired but we feel happy too.（but引导的并列句用的特别好）

I want to study in the school like that.（like作为介词用的特别好。）

My ideal school starts at 8 p.m. and finishes at 4 p.m. We don’t need to get up early and do a lot of homework. We only have two hours of homework every day.

We have enough time to have lunch. We can eat all kinds of delicious food. But they are very cheap.  （用自己学过的句型，说出自己想要表达的思想）When we have lunch, we can also listen to music.（when 引导的时间状语从句用的特别好） We have a good time chatting with each other at lunchtime.（have a good time doing句型用上了）

We have different classes. If I want to study English ,I can go to the English classroom.（能自如的运用条件状语从句） We can choose our favourite subjects to study.（自如的运用动词不定式） It is fun. Our uniforms are very beautiful. They look very modern.（用英语表达自己想说的话）

There is a big shopping mall and a swimming poor. Near the school, There are all kinds of clubs. Every Sunday, I often go to the Dancing club. I like dancing very much. I always have fun in the school.

这两篇习作是我认为写的特别好的学生习作，这两个孩子能跳出已有的范文。表达自己想要表达的东西，这是我特别感到欣慰的地方。其他孩子基本都是仿写。现在中考的作文分值特别多，作为英语教师要引导他们怎样写好作文，而不是简单背几篇范文来应付考试。我们要培养孩子用英语写作思考的好习惯。
